Soda Cupcakes???? OMHeck! That sounds great! Are they moist?
I just cant believe it! I've been snacking on carrot coins (they come in the bag crinkle cut for the extra lazy...ME!)

Diet cherry Pepsi is my chili recipe secret ingredient! I win every time!!!! :thumbsup2

Hey, I've only had 2 diet Pepsis today!!!!! Just to get rid of the headache! Maybe I'll only drink it when I get the headache? I wont change anything else and see what next friday's weigh in shows. Just a theory.

I'm feeling lots better today! I feel great, actually. I've been doing my hair and makeup and making an efort with my DH. He's such a good man! We just watched our recording of American Idol! Hooo Boy there's some un-talented kids out there! Poor things! I' get so embarrassed for the grossly untalented. I just love that Ryan Seacrest (sp?) He is so snarky and diva-y! I just want to hug himm too tightly and pinch his cheeks (face ones).

I like the baby carrots that come in the bags, as I am also extra lazy! :rotfl:

I got headaches when I cut back on the Diet Coke too! Yes! When you feel the headache coming on, have one. I found that if I did that, it would usually go away and not come back.

:rotfl2: Oh yeah! American Idol was BAAAD last night! Whew-we! I find Ryan Seacrest amusing too.

Thanks UMama-
Gonna try the pooh: muffins this weekend. If you know what I mean.;)
I think I've figured out why I haven't lost any weight this week!:rotfl:

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to drop in for a quicky! Hello, that is! :goodvibes

Oh my, we watched AI painfully last night. I thought for sure some of those people were acting. How'd you like the mother/daughter with the similar hair cuts? You know the blonde bombshell gal? I don't mean to be catty, but was she letting the "girls" go loose?:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
Wowzers!

(Tongue in cheek) Yet another reason people SHOULDN'T tell children they can be anything they want to be... :sad2:

I can want all I want, but I'm not going to be an astronaut. Goals are great but hard work, talent, and luck are also required.

By the way, not only can I not be an astronaut, I can't be weightless either... I was in the NASA Explorer Schools program for 3 years and they have a this special deal where teachers can take student experiments up in the "Vomit Comet" to simulate weightlessness... and I weighed too much to be weightless. :confused3

If it's any consolation, I had the same stuff this past weekend and I'm starting to feel better. Just don't let it go too long before seeing a Dr. I'm not a fan of antibiotics, but in this case I wound up needing them thanks to my sinuses getting infected. Hang in there! And may I recommend Maneschewitz chicken broth? It's in the kosher section of the store and comes in a regular soup can. Instant relief for all that ails you! :thumbsup2

Thanks - I will have to try that. I slept unitl 2 :cloud9: and after getting up and taking a shower I thought I was feeling better. So I went to the store to get some groceries so I could actually cook dinner and by the time I got back home, I was running a fever and my back and neck were killing me again. So I am just stopping by and going back to bed!

Question- do you eat breakfast? and if you do when do you eat it? first thing or do you wait for a while then eat?

Also - you really think the diet pepsis are stretching your tummy? cause I am still havign a diet coke everyday and I wonder if its hindering me. I'da figured I'dave at least lost some more weight by this point, I have been working out for 3 mos already!!! even with cheating here and there I should see something...right?

I get up at 5:45 and usually don't eat breakfast until after I get to work (at7:30). If I am hungry before I leave, I grab a banana or a protien bar on the way out the door.

And for the died pepsis - as long as you are not drinking more that one cafeine product a day (coffee, diet coke (or whatever), or tea) you should be ok.

Soda Cupcakes???? OMHeck! That sounds great! Are they moist?

Actually they are awesome! And strawberry cake mix with diet sprite is really good too! My DBF eats them all up every time I make them!

And I like that chili recipe idea. I will have to try it next time!

Ok Peeps - I was just checking in so I wouldn't have to read 20 pages in the morning. Hope ya'll have a nice evening!

Dragonfly OUT!

You need to go to the dr. and have that checked out. It really sounds like you might have Strep, and that isn't something to "wait out". Go tomorrow, so you won't have to suffer through the weekend.

Hope you can get some good "drugs" and feel better soon. Take Care!

Did I mention it's top secret? And I win everytime? It's "Dang Good Chili mix" from Bear Creek from here in UTAH. I add a bunch of diced tomatoes, some garlic, more onions, diced celery, more beans, peppers and a splash of cherry diet Pepsi. Either dutch oven or crock pot. Can add fresh corn off the cob and other veggies. My meat also varies.

Served topped with cheddar cheese in a bread bowl or with a side of corn bread with honey butter. This last part is NOT on our diets. 100 points at least.

The diet Cherry Pepsi is NOT necessary, just cute to have a cool secret ingredient.

UM.......Love your post over on DISUNC's thread......brother from another mother....do ya think it'll help??? I miss DISUNC. :guilty:

1 cup All Bran Extra Fiber +
1 cup Skim Milk +
2 Tablespoons Flax Seed Meal=
30 GRAMS OF FIBER and 250 calories
Should be good with the pooh: muffins. Watch out sewer system! :rotfl: :rotfl2:
Good luck with that.....and since I am the poster child for flax seed here's some info from askdrsears.com.........

* Flax seeds contain a high quality protein.

* Flax seeds are rich in soluble fiber. The combination of the oil and the fiber makes flaxseeds an ideal laxative.

* Flax seeds contain vitamins B-1, B-2, C, E, and carotene. These seeds also contain iron, zinc, and trace amounts of potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, calcium, and vitamin E and carotene, two nutrients which aid the metabolism of the oil.

* Flax seeds contain over a hundred times more of a phytonutrient, known as lignin, than any of its closest competitors, such as wheat bran, buckwheat, rye, millet, oats, and soybeans. Lignins have received a lot of attention lately because of possible anti-cancer properties, especially in relation to breast and colon cancer. Lignins seem to flush excess estrogen out of the body, thereby reducing the incidence of estrogen-linked cancers, such as breast cancer. Besides anti-tumor properties, lignins also seem to have antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties.

I've seen different forms of flax seed, which do I buy and how do I eat it? (i know open mouth insert flax seed!) Does flax seed help you to have a mystical "poop"? Ok, that's a really old refrence to the fisher king one of my fav. movies!

Ok, had the Colon Blow mixture for dinner. I topped it with seven or eight cut up strawberries, and some sugar. Couldn't eat it without it. :confused3 It wasn't enough sugar to do damage though. We'll see what happens. ;) Thanks for the link for the flax seed info. I think I may start putting it in my blueberry muffins that I make for the family. It would be good for everyone.

Did UM post on DISUNC's thread? I have tried taking a collection to get him a new computer :rotfl:, but he hasn't been on in a loooooonnnnnnggggg time. I miss him too.:guilty:
