This is our DD2's first trip on an airplane and after reading UtahMama's TR with her DD on the plane...I am a little nervous that she will have a messy poopy diaper on the plane or that she throws up or something.

Bwa-HA-ha ha haaaa!

Or a tantrum?
Projectile vomiting?
Out the legs, up the BACK, poopy-diaper?

Bring a complete wardrobe change stored in a zip lock bag and plenty of wipes...DONT give her apple juicce in the terminal just before boarding
that's what caused the poop blowout of '98.

ahemmmm ahemmmmmm is this thing on?:wave2:

My wife made an awesome meal. We were watching Oprah and she had the Bob Greene guy on and apparently we are already buying the right stuff....I am so stoked :thumbsup2

Ok I am a bit ticked that Bee invited that Bob Greene guy over though cause he said I was fat. I said I want a second opinion, and he said I was ugly too !!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Anyway he said my BMI was 42 and my goal weight range was 160-215 lbs...Is he CRAZY I AM 6'6" tall and weigh 364. The last time I weighed 160 I was 13 :rotfl2: :rotfl:
Well let's be realistic BOB (If that is your REAL name). I think I will shoot for 250#s (that is what I weighed in high school.). OK BOB. It is BOB isn't it?
:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:
Tinksmom: Welcome !!!!!! :cool1: the more the merrier :cool1:

When it comes to BMI, I think guys get the poopy end of the stick. BMI's seem pretty realistic for women, but not for guys. 250 sounds like a reasonable weight for you.:thumbsup2

So sorry your babies are not well! Hope they're feeling better soon!:flower3:

:welcome: Definitely a very supportive group!:grouphug:
(Although some need more "support" than others :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc ) :lmao:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Welcome!! mygirls!:flower3:

Trying to catch up really fast.

Eeyore - your mixed signals story - :rotfl2: :rotfl:
Bee - all your new bling is great!
DisneylandMama - My dad calls her Maddie. I call her Madison Elizabeth when she is in trouble. She called me a name when I made her ride MS (mild version) today! :rotfl: She ended up liking it - but won't admit it.

Everyone else - Thanks and I will think of you on every ride!

I like Madison Elizabeth. DD is Madison Eliesse. Madison goes well with "E" middle names! Wish I could get my Madison on MS. She won't even ride The Barnstormer! :rotfl:
Glad to "hear" you're having a great time!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! DH just cheered me up with a very funny email. He said that maybe our "old" dog is giving the "new" dog bad doggy info. "If you push those buttons, that lady will think that is really funny!"

OMG! That is a funny story! :rotfl2:

Guess what! I met up with Mousehouselover for a quick photo op! She is such a cutie and really nice. Her family seemed like a lot of fun!
This is us!
dispic2002.jpg

Tonight we are eating at Boma's.

Cute photo! A DisPeep Mini-Meet!
Mmmmm.... Boma!

I ate a Sweet and Sour Chicken Kashi dinner. I thought I would try it since UM raves over them. It was a different taste, not really sure if I liked it or not. I also ate a WW cereal for breakfast. Maybe all that fiber will help counteract all that chocolate? ;)

Thanks for your well wishes! I will do better! I will do better! I want my 5lb. ribbon! I want my 5 lb. ribbon!

Sorry to ask... but what is KASHI?

Eeyore45: I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope the happy memories of your uncle comforts you in your grief.

I hope everyone had a great day! Good Night, Peeps!

Ok, I had a major break thru this afternoon. I took the kids to Baskin Robbins aka 31 ways to gain weight, because they had gift certificates. I left the store WITHOUT getting any!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1: I have never done that before and there was a turtle cheescake flavor screaming my name, but I resisted. I just said, get thee behind me satan, to the little man trying to convince me I needed some, and left the building. My dh doesn't seem to understand why I was so proud of myself. Ok, I'll stop patting myself on the back now! Dh & I also took ds6 & ds9 to see Arthur and the invisibles. It was so good! I was prepared to be bored, but I really liked it.
Great job, and you made me think of the :goofy: weight loss cartoon; "Get thee behind me salami!" :rotfl:

Good WINKERS!!!!! You are the WWPD poster child!

Grump! I made the BEST BBQ Chicken Pizza tonight!!!! I ommitted cilantro because it was for my kids. They LOVED it! I MAY have added more cheese on their pieces ;) It was scrumptious! My 17 yr. old Jordan says I need to make it again! It was a big HIT!

I'm off BOB's chart for goal wt. too. I like me at 160 something.

Hey, I loved OPRAH today. What a huge inspiration! NO EATING 2 HOURS BEFORE BED!!!!! My worst habbit. I like something in my tummy before bed! Like toast or string cheese. BOOOO!

So, did he say NO diet soda? Oh Bob, you DONT want me to be uncaffeinated now do you? It wont be pretty!

Soooo, we decided we are going to DisneyLand this year instead of WDW. We'll be driving and are booking this week. I LOVE Disney's California Adventure, especially the BIG oller coaster and Raiders of the Lost Arc ride

The Pirates of the Carabean and Haunted Mansion and Small World are all quite a bit better at DL. Does anyone know if they still have the restaraunt inside of the POC ride calle the Blue Bayou? It's so cajun and great! I used to go to DL quite often growing up in So. California!

Oh, UM. If you want to meet, let me know when you are going. I bought an AP last month because I was supposed to meet a limey there the end of this month, and she had to cancel. I have an AA ticket to OC burning a hole in my pocket, and my AP collecting cobwebs. And yes, the Blue Bayou is still there.

Good Morning Peeps!
I'm coming out of lurkdom this morning. Feeling a little frustrated today. I've been so good, eating right, staying within my max. daily calories, working out 2 times a day. Jumped on the scale today, and I gain 1 pound. How is that possible???:confused3
Just wanted to say a quick "Hello!" and vent. Gotta go jump on the treadmill! Have a skinny day, everyone!
I think there's something weird going on w/gravity in CA. I've been keeping track of points, exercising, and I haven't lost weight in 2 weeks. It's very frustrating and freakish. Hang in there baby.

Mygirlsof2 :wave2: WELCOME!!! Good Luck with the South Beach diet! The only thing south beach in mi casa is that awful thing that lays at my feet each morning and tells me horrid lies when I step on it! It's the "beach" south of my body :rotfl2:
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Must go move the body and get warmer it's nipply here too :p

Tinkersmom

then why are you wearing a thong? That's what the :p
smiley looks like to me!:rotfl:

Ill have to be really good the next 2 days. I got on the scale this am and was up 2 lbs!:scared1: Don't know if it's because I'm expecting Anunt Flo to stop by in the next couple of days or if because when preparing for AUnt Flo I had a bowl of ice cream and 3 chips ahoy cookies (i don't even care for those:confused3 )

GOOD MORNING PEEPS!

No time to chat....slept in late today.

Sorta skimmed and caught up kinda........

SANDY.....so sorry to hear about your uncle. Prayers on the way for mom.

AMY....Hope Rachel doesn't have pneumonia! Glad she's on the meds and hopefully on the mend.

DANIELLE....I will never look at that smilie the same way again! (Why do they keep moving the smilies????)

HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!!!

Thank you for your encouraging remarks too, aldisneygrl! Let me know if you have any good WW tips - it's been a while since I've been on the program. I was thinking of trying South Beach, but know I'll probably do better with the convenience of at work meetings. Good luck to you, too. Third time is often the charm for many things.

The thing that helped me the most was drinking at least 64 oz. of water a day, and exercising at least 30 - 45 min. a day. I also was pretty "anal" about my points. I was really stingy with myself. I am trying to not be that way this time. I think that is why I have always gained it back.

Sorry to ask... but what is KASHI?

That is the brand name. They are very high in protein and fiber. They are a 6 pt. dinner if you follow WW. I had heard UM talk about them, and saw them at WallyWorld, and decided to try one. I'm hopin' all that fiber I had will undo my chocolate run I had last night.;)

Thank you everyone for the prayers and pixiedust. We just got back from the Dr.She has tonsillitis and we have to go to the clinic tomorrow for xrays because he thinks she has pnemonia.:guilty: She is dehydrated and came very close to being put in the hospital.I got her to drink about three ounces while we were there so I got to bring her home as long as I can get her to keep drinking.

aldisney, glad you furbabies came out of their ordeal okay.:goodvibes Obviously I too eat out of stress.:rolleyes1

Amy - I just read in my Family Fun magazine that you could mark a water bottle at every 6 oz mark, and for each mark a child passes, they get something fun, like watching a movie, eat popcorn, etc. That way it encourages them to drink more. You might give it a try.

Laurel Sloan writes: The first thing I do each morning, no matter where I am, is drink an ice cold Diet Pepsi to wake me up. It is the only soda I really like. In Walt Disney World, though, there is not a Pepsi product anywhere. One night my husband even walked from Downtown Disney to the Hess Station and they don't even carry any Pepsi products. So if you are like me and only like Diet Pepsi or a Pepsi product of any kind and won't have access to a rental car on your vacation, BRING IT WITH YOU! I wish I had known. I would have packed some in my suitcase and our mornings would have been much more pleasant.

UM- Is this a relative of yours?? If I didnt know your first name was Wendy I would think this is possibly you..:rotfl2:

Good morning Peeps! I went to the Thrasher game last night (hockey) and missed all the fun conversations...so I'm catching up:

:welcome: Definitely a very supportive group!:grouphug:
(Although some need more "support" than others :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc ) :lmao:

Hey....I resemble that remark! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

DH just cheered me up with a very funny email. He said that maybe our "old" dog is giving the "new" dog bad doggy info. "If you push those buttons, that lady will think that is really funny!"

This whole story was hyesterical! :lmao: but this last line is the best! Don't you just hate it when they conspire against you?!?!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
then why are you wearing a thong? That's what the :p
smiley looks like to me!:rotfl:

That is just wrong!!!!

Amy - I just read in my Family Fun magazine that you could mark a water bottle at every 6 oz mark, and for each mark a child passes, they get something fun, like watching a movie, eat popcorn, etc. That way it encourages them to drink more. You might give it a try.

That is a great idea! But Rachel is the smartest 2 year old in history and she would probably smell a scam! :snooty:

Eyore - I'm so sorry about your Uncle. :( :grouphug: Way to be the strong woman and take care of the family though...you are the bomb with those internet rates! :flower3:

(by the way, Airtran has a killer sale going on today in case you need them!)

And to everyone - my you are all looking mighty skinny today! This is going to be a GREAT Wednesday! Think skinny thoughts!!!

Hi Peeps! I thought of you all as I sat and ate M&Ms last night (I KNOW.... WWPD? ).... so I am stopping by to say a) I haven't been doing good this week... not too terribly bad but not keeping track/exercising like I should b)I will probably weigh in on Friday but otherwise I am terribly busy and won't be around

One of my DDs has surgery (very minor) on Friday so I will be out of town Thurs and Fri .

But I am rooting for all you!!!!!

I think there's something weird going on w/gravity in CA. I've been keeping track of points, exercising, and I haven't lost weight in 2 weeks. It's very frustrating and freakish. Hang in there baby.

I'm in this club too!!!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

then why are you wearing a thong? That's what the :p
smiley looks like to me!:rotfl:
Thank you for the tears of laughter!! (and who you quoted... :) )

Well maybe we need to put an alarm on our high fat/high sugar items? I finally bought the sugar free jello and fat free cool whip... that way I make myself choose something Healthy FIRST (oh and its UtahWendyMama's fault - she tells us to be prepared, or prepare to fail!! :cutie: Thanks UTM!)

It does give me hope tho, so thank you for posting your discouraging feelings, as I (I know y'all told me to stay off the scale!) have not seen a budge, and yet, here I am my abs are sore, my arms are sore, my legs are sore... I dont want to go to the gym... I MUST go to the gym... I want to go back to bed... )

But there is UTM suggestion to go do something, volunteer. So, I will!! Called DD school, and I'm going in!! Going to teach them about surrealsim, Salvador Dali is on the list... is Pablo Piccasso a surrealist?? :rotfl:

I would have eaten the whole pie, if I had had a whole pie. There were only two pieces left. Maybe that was some skinny minnie pixiedust: ? I am trying to think positively about the situation. It could have been much worse.

I want my 5lb. ribbon! I want my 5 lb. ribbon!

OH thank GOd you made it!!!! You survived one of those days!! Sorry I will now take a greater accpetance and joy in my day, sadly at your expense! Don't worry I am due onhe of them again soon! Then you can feel better!

On the flip side thank God the dog does not have that extra abilty to put the car into gear!!!!:drive:

It is a fact here in my house that older dogs tell the young dopey one all the things to do and then lay there with that I have no idea what that puppies problem is?? I think its all aobut the treats then you will reward the good one with an extra helping! They are smart! is the cat litter box trick my pup was taught by the elder to watch me freak the heck out!!!!

HEres my tip for removal of extra go with the colonblow ie raisin bran or fiber one. May make you feel as id you are walkng around with a 40 week baby who has no desire to leave but eliminating the cereal goes much easier than giving birth!:cloud9:

I am just very glad no green goblin cames up to while you were stuck and ask if you would like to buy some cookies as you are standing there with nothing to do!!:rolleyes1

Last night had the Hunan beef lean cuisine not bad! DS has eaten up all my WW ice cream bars! Lovely!!!! His reason:"you know Mom I am trying to watch my weight too!" (btw he had pudding for dessert prior to my ice crream!!! CUTE !!!:sad2:

Doing bad with the water its so darn cold here I don't want to drink any cold water!!! I am cold enough!!!

BTW Utah...I enjoyed the Lean cuisine Sesame chicken good one! I am hoping the store has the chicken cabonara I like that one too!! I had the fettucini alfredo for lunch not really feeling the love for it!

Hope everyones dogs are not in the cars today!!!!! :rotfl: Have a fun morning and thanks for the giggles, so glad it wasn't me!

BTW I did reschedule Dr office called yesterday and said they noticed I hadn't called back yet! Darn so I set it up for next Monday

Good morning Peeps! I went to the Thrasher game last night (hockey) and missed all the fun conversations...so I'm catching up:

Ok now I am REALLY turning GREEN! (J/K) We used to have season tickets. I probably love hockey as much as Disney! Although they didn't win much in their inaugural season, it was fun seeing all the other teams!

Amy, Melinda, Tinkersmom, aldisney, Dene, TwinkieMama :wizard:

Amy, how about frozen pops - that koolaid in a bag you freeze? I always keep those in the freezer - great for teething toddlers, great for the bumps that hit the mouth, great for sore throats they are sucking on liquids and cold to freeze the throat... :grouphug: WalMart has those tiny (6 or 8 oz) water bottles, with Nemo on them, DD is drinking more water now!!!

Melinda... :goodvibes Its all good!!

Tinkersomom - hang tough - WE ARE WOMEN< watch us ROAR!!! :dance3:

Fidge How goes it woman?? are you in? are you out?? Hope you didnt blow to hard!! :rotfl:

:rotfl2: Why bring it with you (unless you're driving!) when ther's Garden Grocer.com! They are SOOOO great! I do the SAME thing as her. I actually feel myself waking up as I drink it. Uh OH! I'm on my last can. I guess water is gonna have to do till I can get to a Big Gulp! Gee, I wonder if that is slowing down my weight loss? "Last time", I did NOT drink soda at all. I lost wayyyy faster but was overly beachy. I now see and obvious connection. Me no likey.
