Good Morning Skinny Minnies!

Is everyone getting ready for the recipe circle? I just bought a CHEAP one to send around. My Minnie Mouse one will get hammered if I send it. Just being in my kitchen, it's looking warped (the cover is bowed) so I'll take a picture of the real thing to see so you can see my Mickey in drag cover.

Me and Spongie went to Roberts last night to get the final touches. We took our daughters and not 2 minutes in, there's a green smokey cloud wafting around Norah's diaper region! WHEW-WEE it was reisty!

So I took her in the ladies room and cleaned her up but did NOT have an extra diaper! :eek: So she went commando till we got home. Poor thing got a nice red rash!

We also went to Bath and Body Works. That Japanese Cherry Blossom body cream was $5.00.

Then we went for fountain drinks at a convienience store. All three stops were NOT just popping in! I seem to take forever to do anything! I guess it's because I dont leave the house all day, so it's a big treat to run erands with a girlfriend and her beautiful dd and my nekid-bum dd!

Lordy, lordy...it's getting hot in here!

Ok now I am REALLY turning GREEN! (J/K) We used to have season tickets. I probably love hockey as much as Disney! Although they didn't win much in their inaugural season, it was fun seeing all the other teams!

It was a great game! We won 6-2 and Hossa got a Hat Trick!!! :woohoo:
 
Totals for yesterday:
B: Banana, ff peach yogurt & coffee w/ ff french vanilla coffeemate
L: Turkey & ham w/ one slice mozzarella on WW whole grain bread, musselman's lite applesauce snack cup & sugar free dulce de lece pudding cup.
D: Healthy harvest whole wheat rotini, my spaghetti sauce (Prego sauce, ground turkey, rosetti's meatballs, a little splenda, & tons of spices) & one piece of texas toast.

Okay, dinner was a little bad . . . but I really felt I earned it after my small group personal training session at Bally's :yay: :yay: . This morning I feel muscles I didn't know I had.

I feel as though I'm doing well on WW, but I think I can do better. My main problem is approximating my points . . . I eat 22 - 25 points a day. Anybody on WW know how the points are broken down?? I can't remember exactly how many points I'm allowed to have. Also, how do the flex points work, how many do you get a week and do you still get to add points for exercise?? If any peeps can update me on WW that would be great!!

No time to catch-up, I am doing errands with my 81yo Dad. It is 24 degrees here and quite nipply, so we need to be sure we stay warm!

Aldisneygrl: :rotfl2: Your Trixie stories are toooo funny!!! We have 2 puggles and they would be all over the car if we let them!! My parents just got 2 teacup shih tzu's last year and they have these adorable car seats, which I'm sure my 2 dogs would be jealous of if they saw them. I insist on keeping them in travel crates in the backseat and buckled in because I once saw an accident with an animal crate halfway through the windshield :sad2: . Luckily the owner was standing off to the side with their dog, so I guess it was okay.

Thanks for the prayers,pixie dust,and great suggestions.Rachel is doing a little better this morning but I am still waiting to hear wether she has pnemonia.She has eaten a few bites and already drank 4 ounces this morning.:cheer2: Tyler is home again today but I think he just has a really bad cold and seems a little better also.

UM,I haven't done anything about the recipe circle yet :sad2: but I hopefully tonight I will get to go to Michaels.

The last two days have been so bad in the diet area that I am DETERMINED not to cheat today.My problem is that I don't really have the right foods in the house right now and don't want to take Rachel back out in the cold.

Rachel just came up to me and said "mom,I am beautiful!".We all need to take a lesson from a two year old and tell ourselves WE are Beautiful!!

The dog stories are a hoot!

Boma was excellent!!! I tried a little of everything. My family and probably the waitress thought I was crazy. Tonight I not only took pics, I took down notes - how else would I possibly know what I had! Plus if Umama does it then so should I. I will post a full dining review later. But just for you guys here is the dessert plate.

I did put some fruit on there, did you notice! I enjoyed the Chocolate Mousse and Zebra domes (they both had alcohol - Christians can have Nyquil and desserts with liquour) The fruit tart was probably the best thing. Oh, the Crab Soup was amazing!!! I am getting the recipe for that and the Coconut seafood chowder. I am sure they are low calorie.

See I did not eat it all. I just felt that it was my DIS Duty to try it all.

Tomorrow we head back to AK and Epcot for Le Cellier - I am so excited!!

I only have about an hour of internet left. So I probably will not be able to post again until Saturday. Don't think my DH will spring for another 24 hours. I will miss you guys!

That's just soooooo not fair!!! Here I am eating my oatmeal and I have to look at that yummy stuff!!! Now I need chocolate! :rotfl2:
 
BTW Utah...I enjoyed the Lean cuisine Sesame chicken good one! I am hoping the store has the chicken cabonara I like that one too!! I had the fettucini alfredo for lunch not really feeling the love for it!

You get points based on your weight.I have the papers right here so if you will tell me your weight I can tell you exactly how many you get-PM me if ya don't want to say here.You get 30 flex points a week to use whenever you want to.You do get points for exercise depending on your weight,the exercise,and the amount of time you exercise.You use a slide to do this but if you give me the info I will tell you how many points you get.I will look to see if I have an extra slide if you want it.

Well, the bad news is my sinus infection erupted, I added strep throat to it, AND I may have had the flu. :sick: The good news is... I lost 2 pounds in the process! :rotfl: Amazing how many calories you can burn through a fever and constant sneezing.

ANYWAY, it snowed here last night so the whole world is shut down. Roads are supposed to be worse tomorrow because we won't get above freezing until tomorrow afternoon and the snow that melts from the traffic will just glaze over.

I'm out of school (which is just as well 'cause I'm in the early stages of a cold) and DD's college shut down 30 miles away. Looks like a tv and Internet day around here... glad I have some healthy foods in the house.

Had a media "oops" this morning... most school districts in the Dallas/Fort Worth area are closed... Dallas didn't close BUT a few of the tv stations used "unofficial" sources and announced that Dallas ISD was closed so a bunch of teachers and students didn't show up when they should have.

Thanks! I'm at 167 lbs. right now, the points go down when I get below 150 right? I didn't know they had a slider for exercise, I do so many different types of exercise it would be great to have that if you have an extra. Although my most frequent is kickboxing for an hour or an elliptical or treadmill for 20-30 mins. Are those hard to look up?
 
When it comes to BMI, I think guys get the poopy end of the stick. BMI's seem pretty realistic for women, but not for guys. 250 sounds like a reasonable weight for you.:thumbsup2

Oh, UM. If you want to meet, let me know when you are going. I bought an AP last month because I was supposed to meet a limey there the end of this month, and she had to cancel. I have an AA ticket to OC burning a hole in my pocket, and my AP collecting cobwebs. And yes, the Blue Bayou is still there.

I think there's something weird going on w/gravity in CA. I've been keeping track of points, exercising, and I haven't lost weight in 2 weeks. It's very frustrating and freakish. Hang in there baby.

Checked the scale again, and still no weight loss for this week! :confused3 I started weight training yesterday, and boy does my body feel it today!:eek:
I took Bee's lead and checked out Bob Greene's Best Life site. Punched in my info. and was told my healthy weight should be between 125-169lbs. Thats a huge window, no? If I weighed 125 lbs, I'd look like a lollypop. I have been told I have a big head! :lmao: At my thinest I was 136 lbs and DH said I looked anorexic!

Good Afternoon Peepers! Nice pics I see posted! I had no idea our Dis Peep Dude was such a WOWSIER! Bee you sure are a lucky lady ;) I am having fun catching up. I am jump starting my weight loss with a little Atkins Induction :confused3 I know it's up for debate as to healthiness of induction, but I am making sure that my protein outweighs my fat, and that my carbs stay in check. I really need the strictness of this diet plan (it's worked for me before), because I am STRESS EATING CARBS! Any CARBS at all will do thank you :rotfl2: so I need to break the vicious cycle!

On another note, now that you guys have all seen me in my thong :p but I'm afraid me in a thong is more like this :eek: or this :scared: :rolleyes1 or maybe that's what I would feel like wearing one :lmao:

Lexmelinda : Thanks, going to have to try that one of these weigh-in days after I get off induction (or maybe the day before a dreaded Dr. visit) You should of seen the look on the nurses face when I was 8 months preggers with my little one and I told her I wasn't getting on the scale untill I took off my shoes and clothing :rotfl: luckily for her I WAS just kidding (or was I ;) )
