HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! (In my most desperate voice!)

Ok today has not been good. Aunt Flo came a week early today. I went to PetSmart with my new dog to show my dog trainer the new dog and get their wonderful coupons. You get those if you rescue a dog. They are great!

Anyway, afterwards I went across the street to get some gas. This is where it all started to go wrong.:sad2: When I finished pumping the gas, my machine was out of receipt paper! I hate it when that happens! I went to get my keys out of my car, and lock the dogs inside. Well, I pull on the door handle, and guess what??????? My new dog, Trixie, had locked the keys in the car! Well, I asked the nice man, who was pumping gas in front of me, if I could borrow his cell phone to call DH. Mine was in the locked car of course. I left a message on DH's cell phone telling him to come get me that the dog had locked the car with my keys inside. I know I shouldn't leave my keys in the car, but I was in a hurry (trying to get home in time to get DD off the bus). You know how things go wrong when you are rushed.:sad2: Well, I did have a little pixiedust: moment when I crossed to go get my receipt from inside the store, I saw my neighbor's sister in the car I crossed in front of. I motioned for her to pull over. I asked her to call her sister, my neighbor, and tell her to get DD off the bus for me. As I am talking to her, I see a car pull up behind mine. I decide to go tell them that I won't be moving soon. When I walk up to the car, it is a former neighbor! I tell her I can't move my car because the DOG LOCKED MY KEYS IN THE CAR! She said, "you mean the one sticking her head out the window?" Wow another pixiedust: moment, my crazy new dog rolled down the passenger window too. I was able to pull her out, and reach in and unlock the door.

Here is the problem, when I got home, I have eaten two (small) pieces of chocolate chip pie, two brownies, and a chocolate chip cookie! *** (flip, I am a Christian woman you know;) ) Why did I just do that?:crazy2: I think I am craving chocolate because of AF. I guess I was just thinking about what could have happened. DH doesn't carry my car key on his ring so we would have had to go home (10 min.), get the key, then drive back to the gas station (10 min.). It is freezing (literally) today! The thought of leaving my furbabies in a freezing car just made me go over the edge!

I feel better now. Maybe I will practice self control for the rest of the night.

DH just cheered me up with a very funny email. He said that maybe our "old" dog is giving the "new" dog bad doggy info. "If you push those buttons, that lady will think that is really funny!"

Epcot ended up being great. Thanks for the encouraging words this morning! Bee - can't wait to read your TR!.

Epcot was not too bad - crowd wise. We rode Soarin' twice, TT - twice, MS, and Maelstrom. Ate in Mexico, gelato in Italy and I have Schoolbread from Norway in the cooler for later. While we were in line for MS, a CM came over and gave us a certificate for front of the line for TT or Soarin'. He said it was because of DFIL's veteran's shirt. Wait for Soarin' was 65 minutes - so the pass was great.

Guess what! I met up with Mousehouselover for a quick photo op! She is such a cutie and really nice. Her family seemed like a lot of fun!
This is us!

We also went to the coke place and I whipped out the camera and started passing out cups of the best one - Beverly! Here is what my DS thought of it!

Tonight we are eating at Boma's.

Hi everyone,

I've just finished reading UtahMama's trip report (awesome popcorn:: ) and jumped over to this thread that she wrote about. We are leaving for Disney in 11 days :yay: and I have been trying to lose weight since the beginning of the year.

I'm hoping I can make some weight-loss buddies who will keep me in check and make me post my weigh-ins. I would love to lose a total of 70 pounds, but I'll take ANYTHING at this point! I'm trying South Beach diet, never did that before, and exercising by walking (trying to do 10K steps a day, but haven't gotten there yet).

Thanks!

:welcome: to the peeps thread! Jump right in! :)

Shula, sounds like you had a succesful weekend.:goodvibes WTG!!

Okay I have never asked for prayers and pixie dust but we could really use some around here.Rachel is running a fever again and fell asleep sitting on the couch.:guilty:

Tyler(DS11) is now running a fever. It looks like I won't be working again tomorrow and when I don't work I don't get paid.

Prayers and pixiedust: coming your way! hope everyone is feeling better soon!

Okay, I REALLY shouldn't watch tv while reading... I read the highlighted part above as "then make much love to all those skinnie minnies and the skinnie minniedude".:love1:

Sending skinny vibes :goodvibes Glad the car thing worked out. Be a good girl, do some extra crunches.

BTW, while driving to the vet, my mom's dog rolled the window down, stuck her head out, then rolled the window up with her head still in it. :dog2:

Thank you everyone for the prayers and pixiedust. We just got back from the Dr.She has tonsillitis and we have to go to the clinic tomorrow for xrays because he thinks she has pnemonia.:guilty: She is dehydrated and came very close to being put in the hospital.I got her to drink about three ounces while we were there so I got to bring her home as long as I can get her to keep drinking.

When I got home before I stopped to think i had eaten 1 1/2 pieces of pizza and a Reeses heart(190 cal).I am soo disapointed in myself.

I would have eaten the whole pie, if I had had a whole pie. There were only two pieces left. Maybe that was some skinny minnie pixiedust: ? I am trying to think positively about the situation. It could have been much worse.

I ate a Sweet and Sour Chicken Kashi dinner. I thought I would try it since UM raves over them. It was a different taste, not really sure if I liked it or not. I also ate a WW cereal for breakfast. Maybe all that fiber will help counteract all that chocolate? ;)

Thanks for your well wishes! I will do better! I will do better! I want my 5lb. ribbon! I want my 5 lb. ribbon!

Good evening, PEEPS!

I am in and out on this thread and I feel so out of the loop! I have not even had a chance to read back...you all love to chat! :goodvibes

We went to California to visit my family for my 30th birthday last week and my DH surprised me with a trip to WDW for January 21st-February 1st! :cloud9: I thought I was gonna have to wait until Sept! I have been trying to plan our ADR's for the trip and getting our packing list taken care of....so much to do!! This is our DD2's first trip on an airplane and after reading UtahMama's TR with her DD on the plane...I am a little nervous that she will have a messy poopy diaper on the plane or that she throws up or something. I am just not sure what to expect.
I am STILL very excited!!

I lost .8 pounds last week...so I am at 4.8 pounds lost. I am hoping that I don't gain a ton o weight on this trip.
am just popping in because I love this thread and I wish that I had more time to be on to chat. I am sending all of you *weight-loss pixie dust*!! :wizard:

I like everyone's pretty signatures!:goodvibes

Dismom - Sorry you have a sick little one - prayers going up!

The dog stories are a hoot!

Boma was excellent!!! I tried a little of everything. My family and probably the waitress thought I was crazy. Tonight I not only took pics, I took down notes - how else would I possibly know what I had! Plus if Umama does it then so should I. I will post a full dining review later. But just for you guys here is the dessert plate.

animallodge014.jpg

I did put some fruit on there, did you notice! I enjoyed the Chocolate Mousse and Zebra domes (they both had alcohol - Christians can have Nyquil and desserts with liquour) The fruit tart was probably the best thing. Oh, the Crab Soup was amazing!!! I am getting the recipe for that and the Coconut seafood chowder. I am sure they are low calorie.

animallodge015.jpg

See I did not eat it all. I just felt that it was my DIS Duty to try it all.

Tomorrow we head back to AK and Epcot for Le Cellier - I am so excited!!

I only have about an hour of internet left. So I probably will not be able to post again until Saturday. Don't think my DH will spring for another 24 hours. I will miss you guys!

:rotfl2: Oh sure.. first brag about Disney World :rotfl2: then take pictures! Pictures of what.. Scenery???? Nope..

DESSERT....:rotfl2: that should help us with our diets..:rolleyes1

I know Stacey is just trying to keep the playing field level.. she is making us hungry for sweets.. then when she comes back we wont have lost any weight!!:rotfl:

BTW, while driving to the vet, my mom's dog rolled the window down, stuck her head out, then rolled the window up with her head still in it. :dog2:
Dene', this totally cracked me up! I think it was partly because I felt so bad for aldisneygrl's locked car predicament and I had never heard of a dog rolling down a car window before.

Well, ladies and grumpythreaddude, I started Weight Watchers at Work today. It seems like I get more points this time than I remembered getting before, but they have a new formula to calculate your points with. I didn't do too badly, but I need to get to the store to stock up on more of the right foods. I'm going to give it a week, then see if I need to adjust my points down a bit. I lost 2 pounds from the weigh-in at orientation. Unfortunately, my weigh-ins are on Tuesdays, so I guess I'll just have to wait and report my future progress on Fridays since my home scale isn't very accurate.
