HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! (In my most desperate voice!)
Ok today has not been good. Aunt Flo came a week early today. I went to PetSmart with my new dog to show my dog trainer the new dog and get their wonderful coupons. You get those if you rescue a dog. They are great!
Anyway, afterwards I went across the street to get some gas. This is where it all started to go wrong.
When I finished pumping the gas, my machine was out of receipt paper!
I hate it when that happens! I went to get my keys out of my car, and lock the dogs inside. Well, I pull on the door handle, and guess what???????
My new dog, Trixie, had locked the keys in the car! Well, I asked the nice man, who was pumping gas in front of me, if I could borrow his cell phone to call DH. Mine was in the locked car of course.
I left a message on DH's cell phone telling him to come get me that the dog had locked the car with my keys inside. I know I shouldn't leave my keys in the car, but I was in a hurry (trying to get home in time to get DD off the bus). You know how things go wrong when you are rushed.
Well, I did have a little
moment when I crossed to go get my receipt from inside the store, I saw my neighbor's sister in the car I crossed in front of. I motioned for her to pull over. I asked her to call her sister, my neighbor, and tell her to get DD off the bus for me. As I am talking to her, I see a car pull up behind mine. I decide to go tell them that I won't be moving soon. When I walk up to the car, it is a former neighbor! I tell her I can't move my car because the DOG LOCKED MY KEYS IN THE CAR! She said, "you mean the one sticking her head out the window?"
Wow another
moment, my crazy new dog rolled down the passenger window too. I was able to pull her out, and reach in and unlock the door.
Here is the problem, when I got home, I have eaten two (small) pieces of chocolate chip pie, two brownies, and a chocolate chip cookie! *** (flip, I am a Christian woman you know
) Why did I just do that?
I think I am craving chocolate because of AF. I guess I was just thinking about what could have happened. DH doesn't carry my car key on his ring so we would have had to go home (10 min.), get the key, then drive back to the gas station (10 min.). It is freezing (literally) today! The thought of leaving my furbabies in a freezing car just made me go over the edge!
I feel better now. Maybe I will practice self control for the rest of the night.
DH just cheered me up with a very funny email. He said that maybe our "old" dog is giving the "new" dog bad doggy info. "If you push those buttons, that lady will think that is really funny!"

Good HUH?!
I thought I was gonna have to wait until Sept! I have been trying to plan our ADR's for the trip and getting our packing list taken care of....so much to do!! This is our DD2's first trip on an airplane and after reading UtahMama's TR with her DD on the plane...I am a little nervous that she will have a messy poopy diaper on the plane or that she throws up or something. I am just not sure what to expect.
.
have lernt my lesson and I no longer drink when I read so hopefully my laptop wont suffer water damage
