Dis Sponsor?

I saw a link awhile back to how to "sponsor" the DIS. I was amazed at the price....I really thought it would be a lot more than that which is why I never really looked into it at all. Anyways...to the question...I've asked for it to be my Christmas gift this year since we can't be using our Disney money to sponsor the DIS it has to wait until after our December trip (unless I win the lottery or something like that). So are there certain times you can sign up to be a sponsor so everyone's year or whatever are up at the same time or is it a sign up whenever you want to thing and the poor disboard staff has to keep track of everyone's time?

Thanks everyone! Yeah I guess if I won a cruise I'd sponsor for sure! By the way disboard gods and goddesses, I can organize a mean spreadsheet if you need help tracking expiration dates!

Now how many days until Christmas??? 4 days until MI trip, 34 until Sept Dis trip, and ?? until Dec Disney trip....can't wait!
