What Disney related songs would you like to hear played?

Pete(the owner ofthe DIS)has suggested that each forum have a weekly radio show with our favorite songs playing in that time slot....

So what would you all like to hear??

The cruise board put together some cruise music, other forums are suggesting their favorites, if you all want to start listing music you like to craft, cook, gardern or scrap to, we can have our own music hour! :)

Songs can be any Music from, about and inspired by Disney.

So let us know what you would like to hear.....

Happy Listening.

Cool :thumbsup2 DIS radio is great! :disrocks:

My favs are any of the movie tunes. I have all the soundtracks, and even the country one where they all sing the tunes...I can listen to them for hours...they always make me smile :teeth:

I also have the cruise CD, and it is awesome! I listen to that when I'm scrappin my "island" stuff... :beach:

Soundtracks are good, parade music would be great too. We play Magic In The Streets on my IPOD all the time.

Please NO Disney songs redone by todays "Stars"!!!!! I hate the remixes done by the Raven Simone's and Hillary Duff's of the world. I want real Disney music!!!

Great idea Pete! :cheer2:

- Epcot's entrace loop & Illuminations
- Pirates of the Caribbean

I will leave it up for a few days, hopefully more people will respond. We could have a nice assortment for our playlist hour. We will all know when it will play and know that we have awesome music to woek or DIS by! :cool1:

What a fun idea!

I like the music from the parks best. My favorite is the soundtrack from Illuminations.

Buffy - OMG! I had the Disco Mickey album!!!! You just brought back so many memories!

How about this one?

This had to be circa 1985 or 1986. I can't tell you how many times I danced around my living room to this one.

I wonder what ever happened to those - I would kill to have those albums now even if I don't have a record player anymore. I should go digging in my Dad's attic to see if I saved anything.

Nope never had that one but I still have Disco Mickey, it is somewhere at my mom's. They made a CD in 1995 but I haven't found it yet. My brother used to work at a college radio station so he is going to convert the LP to CD for me.

Wish i could listen to the Dis radio but my work blocker won't let me.. I have the 5 disk collection (60 years of magic or something like that) but it doesn't have any of the Theme Park music - I love listening to mouseinfo radio for the background music to areas like Tree of Life and any of the parade music!
