Mouse World Radio has been around for 10 years. I don't think it had any problems with listeners. But I'm biased because I've been friends with the owner since 1996.
There's a direct (and free, even better) iPhone app for MWR for anyone interested.
I like both MWR and DIS Radio. I'm sorry to see DIS Radio go.
1:15 am EST, Fantasmic is playing. I am falling asleep. I can't stay up any longer to see what the last song is. Hopefully it will still be playing in the morning when I get to work...
Oh well....I just forked over the $7 for WunderRadio just to get DISradio on my iPhone. Suppose I'll find something else I like on it. Sorry to hear this.
Oh that's really too bad I had listen to Mouse World Radio for years but had been spending time with Dis radio. Back to MWR. Which is really OK I never completely stopped listening there but I really did enjoy Dis Radio too.
It is sad but at least its not the podcast! When i first saw the notice I thought is was the podcast that was ending. I'm just happy it wasn't the podcast! But still sad about Dis Radio.
Now this is a real bummer. I don't remember any discussion about financial problems with the site, or efforts to try and salvage same. Obviously it had become too much to handle.
Listening today at work. Sad to see it go but they have to do what is best. I know a while back there was questions whether these types of stations could stay at all based on the proposed costs that were to be imposed. At least we had the opportunity to listen to this point. Thanks guys!
I agree, very sad. I put it on at work daily as background music. Pete, if you are reading this thread, maybe it could be an iPhone app. Disney radio has their own app and we use it in the car all of the time. I would DEFINITELY pay good money to have it on my iPhone, just an idea- would definitely help with the costs??

I looked at the Live365 packages last night, and it cost almost $800/month for one package. Maybe the prices jumped recently, and it just wasn't cost-effective any more.
