They look yummy:worship:

I have a confession to make  I can seldom leave a recipe alone - so I took the liberty of adding in a large block of Galaxy truffle into the mix - which wasn't called for in the recipe :rolleyes1 I believed at the time it was good for the soul. :rotfl2:

Mmm, all those fab photos are making me feel hungry, everything looks delish ::yes::

So here is the cake I made yesterday, its the most difficult i've ever tried, its called Brooklyn Blackout Cake:

Wow...what a thread! :worship:

I have some baking coming up in the next couple of weeks, so I'll join in then.

The cake itself was made out of vanilla on the left and chocolate on the right. The stadium was rice krispies and marshmallow with the players made out of icing. The windows in the side were poured sugar. It was all edible apart from the roof (and the cocktail sticks holding the players up)
As good as it looked - and tasted - I do feel a little bit of a cheat considering all the fantastic home made puddings on here so I will make an effort this week to post something more appropriate. Honest.

Keep em coming guys. I'm loving this :worship:

Wow what a cake!! Its amazing what can be done!

I'm so torn between this thread and dis dieters thread :rotfl2:

i'll be making peanut butter cupcakes with chocolate buttercream icing on Wednesday night for dbf's birthday - will make sure to post pics when there done :thumbsup2

So have they cooled yet? ;)

This is such a great thread. Thank you for starting this Kenny. Not sure it is encouraging healthy eating - I had dessert for tea two nights in a row :scared1: :scared1:- but it's great to see what everyone else has made/bought.

Who made that birthday cake? It looks incredible :worship:

It's all part of my master plan. I have found that I am far too weak to diet so I am taking you all down with me :lmao:

It was made by our niece who has developed a bit of passion for designing this sort of thing. It took her about 2 weeks from start to finish - and came with a lot of frustrations, but we were all more than a little impressed by the end result.

Great! I take it you feel pretty chuffed with yourself now, looking at my healthy (not) diet for the weekend :rotfl2:

Well tell your niece she did an incredible job and it was worth whatever challenges she had to go through. The final result is something anyone should be very proud of :thumbsup2

but I think a bowl of Frosties is more likely this evening :goodvibes

Frosties for tea?! :lmao:
