DIS PS Calculator Wrong??

Hi all,

I just called Disney Dining to make my ADRs and was told I needed to call back tomorrow as I'm 181 days days out right now. I just put my checkin date - 10/15/2007 - into the PS Calculator on the dining section of WDW Info and it definately says April 17th as my 180 day mark.

Any ideas?

That happened to me last year...I called and they told me I was a day early. I just kept saying, "are you sure?" and the cm checked again, and said, "oh, you're right...it is today."

I would call back again and you will get a different cm who will know the dates, maybe.

Good luck...I know how frustrating that is

Although, I was just looking at my pregnancy ticker, and I am due on 10/14 and it says 180 days out today, so maybe you are a day early?

According to the calculator today is my 180 and I check in on Oct. 14th. I'll wait until this afternoon before calling. It's just the 2 of us, so not really pressed on getting into anything. We are there 12 nights, so I'm sure I'll get LeCellier at least one of those nights. We are not picky on what parks on any particular day. After 60 visits to WDW, there's nothing we haven't seen or done. We just go with the flow now.

I called yesterday and they told me they were doing ADR's for checkin starting Oct 17th.

That doesn't make sense. Counting today and the OP's desired date of 10/15 (and I know only one of those two days 'counts'), it's right at this minute 182 days until 10/15. So, yeah, since one day doesn't count, today is 181 days.

That happened to me once too, when I was going for CRT breakfast before the changes. So I called back and the new CM did my ADR's for me. Luckily I got the breakfast too! Sometimes they are wrong.

If you use the PS Calculator (google search will find it for you) it gives a date of 18 April. This is the calculator I always go by.

Just looked at the DIS one, it is identical to the one I use, must be the same one. Ah yes, it is the same guy. I put your check in date of 10/15 in and I get 4/18. This is using the one you said you used. Are you sure you put your dates in right? The 120 and 90 days come out with a date of 17, but for June and July, are you looking at the 180 day mark, and not the others?

I check in on Oct. 17 and it said my ADR date is April 20

I put in 10/15/2007 as the date and it says 180 day mark is 4/18/2007.

We check in 13th Oct and I rang yesterday at 180 days out and was only allowed to book for 10 days worth so that must have been correct. So your 180 day is tomorrow for check in on 15th Oct

I just used the same calculator you did and it says 4/18.
