I haven't been around here for a while. Sorry been busy. Fran is getting more independent. She can get up by herself and now can scoot around the house. This morning I woke to an empty bed. We'll there were kitties in the bed..she couldn't sleep and was in the family room.

YAY for Fran!

I hope she's not pushing herself too hard.

This old fogie just.went to the gym. I lasted 3:43 on the stair master but did a little better on the recumbent bike. 11 minutes. I need a bath!

I don't think I wrote that I got a new job. I must have meant that I am looking forward to going to WDW in October and do the new stuff that I have missed these last couple of years.

This week, DS was enrolled in a music festival that went for 4 days. It was a lot of work and so much fun! I think DS got a lot out of it although I think he was tired at the end of the week. We do normally enrol him in this program and have done so for the last 5 years.

For the first time. DH and I joined in. I made the joking statement to our guitar teacher that I wouldn't mind playing in the guitar ensemble and the next thing I knew, she had worked it out with the festival coordinators so that DH and I paid a reduced fee to only participate in that part of the program. We were provided with a 4-part ensemble piece. Between DH, DS and myself, we had 3 out of the 4 parts! The first time anyone put it together was on Wednesday this week and we worked on it for about 90 minutes each day with the other guitarists. We played it today for an audience and it went reasonably well.

But I've come home pretty tired each day. I'm not used to using that right side of the brain anymore.
