We will have unexpected visitors from Sydney. Thankfully, we're heading out for dinner but I've whipped up a pavlova as a 'just in case' dessert. I have no idea if we're heading back here after dinner for coffee; or if we'll decide to have dessert/coffee at the restaurant. In any event, I just wanted to make sure I was covered for either option.

DH has headed to the grocery store for our standard weekly shop. I've added fruit and cream to the list so that I can dress the pav later tonight.

All is going well. Tomorrow I need to bathe my dog, trim her up, then take both dogs in for their vet check up. Pick up a gift for the birthday party tomorrow night, go grocery shopping for Easter dinner since I just found out it's at my house. Pick up goodies for the kiddos. Whew!

I hope you figure it out. I just heard a big. Boom. Smash that I need to check out and then go to bed. I hope everyone here is well tonight.

The company was the best.

I didn't take my camera but we mostly got pasta and pizza. I had a carbonara. It was such a huge serve that I could only eat half of it. DS finished whatever I left behind.
And then we headed back to my place and we sat and chatted till about 10.30 pm. We ended up having dessert at my place and I was glad that I made a pavlova earlier in the day.

After they left, I stayed up and shot the lunar eclipse.

And this was as 'total' as it got over Melbourne.
