I have direcTV, but didn't shel out tthe extra bux. The ironic thing is if I had local TW digital cabel I would get all games for FREE! :headache: Grrrrr... still not enough to make me switch back

I couldn't resist. This is the first year I've done it and I'm really glad I did. I got a bonus at work so I had a little extra cash.

I'm at work, that wouldn't help. ;) I can't stream or I would be watching it that way. :headache:

ETA: My boss' plane just taxied past my window. :headache:

Can you do that with baseball as well? I hate not being able to watch the red sox games.

Yes, and there's quite a fight brewing over that. MLB is planning on making directv the only provider for Extra Innings. I think previously cable companies have also been able to offer it. Sen. Kerry is leading the charge against directv being the only way to get it. He's speaking for Red Sox Nation, I guess.

Extra Innings is REALLY expensive though. March Madness was $70, I think Extra Innings is closer to $200.

I'm a Yankee fan from way back so I don't really need it.

It might even be more than that -- you're right, it's pricey. I got the NFL Sunday Ticket the first year we had DirecTV when we moved into our house, but it came as a part of a package that made it worth it. To buy it now, it's like $250 for the season and it's simply not worth it when you live in the city you root for.

If I knew I'd be home for much of the NCAA games, I would have bought that package -- as it is, I hardly have time to watch the games that are on at night during the first couple weekends.

I'm still getting NFL, the Jets and the Giants are just not good enough to watch full time. They give a discount for renewals so it's not as bad, although it is still pretty expensive.

I hate having to watch football on Fox so I try to stay away from the Giant games. I also like to watch the AFC so I find myself watching CBS alot.

When I was a student at the college of new jersey, I loved having the NY and Philly local stations. We usually had 4 different football games on at once. :thumbsup2

THESE PEOPLE ARE MAKING ME NUTS!!!! What the heck are they THINKING????

How do you do it?!

That was fantastic defense on the part of the player on UNLV...shuffled his feet, didn't lunge for the ball.

If they had saved a timeout, it would have helped there.
