DIS NCAA Bracket Challenge - Come discuss the tourney!

My brackets are usually in shreds by Thursday, I don't even have to wait for the completion of the first round.

I may have to go back and make some edits.

Very true! It was weird that the Gators played Arkansas in the Georgia Dome for both the Football and Basketball SEC Championships. It really only makes sense that Ohio State and the Gators meet up in the NCAA Basketball finals (even though the venue will be differernt).

I think I'm going to be changing my brackets a bit..I can't decide on a few matchups...but once I change them tonight I refuse to go back and alter them again...yeah right.

I'm hoping Texas and UNC really give it to eachother, so when they play Georgetown in the elite 8, G'town rolls over the winner of that game.

Hey, I know you all don't know me. I'm generally on the VMK board, but I couldn't resist doing this. I really enjoy these, but this is the first time I've had an opportunity to join a private league. I've done decent in years past, but never good enough. We'll see how this year goes. Good luck everybody!

Tim - what Big East team do you cheer for? I'm guessing Seaton Hall or Rutgers given your screen name? We've got Friars fans here....although I'm an Rhody Ram from the A-10.

Sadly none of our teams are in the dance - but the Friars are in the NIT.

For college football, I root for Rutgers. But for College bball, I'll root for the Big east teams in the tourney and non-conference play, but my favorites are: Nova, Gtown, Syracuse, UCONN, and Marquette.

I went to the Qfinals at the garden last thursday for the big east tourney...I saw WVU/Lousiville (fantastic game) and Marq/Pitt (so so game).

I was rooting for URI the other night against GWU...sorry to see they didn't win!

I think DS's goal is to someday get to the Big East tournament - he's registered in the pool as Friar Fanatic. He tries to get to as many games as possible (and affordable) each season. He and DH saw the Friars beat UCONN in January.

When I was checking out colleges, I gave URI a look.

Yeah tell your DS he should definitely try to get there someday...it was so cool! There's nothing better than the garden in March and the Big East.

I went out and registered on Jim Romes web site & they had a neat thing that popped up that basicly said the percentage of people that picked a certain team to advance..really neat..I figure to lose in at least 6-7 bracket challenges..

Yep, 6 is right:

Pitt, Marquette, Gtown, Lousiville, Notre Dame, and Villanova.

I think it should have been seven (Syracuse being the 7th). I finalized my picks today...I shouldn't be changing them again, but I'm sure I will sneak in something tonight.
