Hey just a suggestion for others that want to send in the same manner- wait until Grumpy's message is posted and just post a response to it that way there isn't many many posts of the same thing- but could have lots of responses to the one post...

I am sorry I removed Mr.Yanovers email addy from the players guide since due to the last letter writing campaign Disney asked us to remove it from another thread because he email was being flooded and since he is not Yavn direct boss I feel it would be more productive to forward all mail to Yavn himself.

Which could be accomplished by this thread or by going to his BLOG.

Ok this may be an Idea that is a bit out there but after reading Slinkyman's story , An idea popped into my little gnome brain.

If a letter writing campaign by all of my friends could get the word Gnome added to the Dictionary, then would a letter writing campaign get a little boys wishes to come true.

So here is my big idea:

We all know that Slinkyman wants to meet Yavn and that Slink is going to WDW in a few weeks. So i urge all of the DIS people to write a short note to "contact us " on the home page and ask Yavn if he would meet Slink at WDW to make his dream come true. I know this is a lot to ask of you but I think by doing this it would put the icing on Slink's recovery cake.

I know that some people are not the best at writing letters so here is the copy of the letter i am sending to the black hole. Feel free to copy it and use it as you own.

Dear Yavn,

It has come to my attention that there is a young boy, that plays VMK that is in the process of recovering from cancer, One of his dreams is to meet you. He will be in WDW as part of a make a wish trip on april 18th through april 20th before boardinga Disney cruise. If there is any way possible, could you please help make this boy's dream come true? After all magic is what VMk and Disney is all about. If you would like more information about Slinkyman please feel free to read the VMk section of DISBOARDS.

I have just entered my suggestion for yavn to meet slinkyman. THIS IS THE BEST IDEA!!! I never new that slinkyman had cancer... but i hope he has a good recovery

Another suggestion is to put a link to this thread in the Coping and Compassion board. I would do it but you know my tiny cat brain cannot handle such technical wizardry.
