Dis meet?

I can do the 1st. I would rather not do Easter Sunday 8th as I was going to visit my parents but I haven't organised it yet so I could be persuaded not to go.

I know a certain Mr Stringer of these parts could be persuaded to organise his regular South West meet for those who can't make the London one (and for those who can if they want to attend both).

No problem organising a South West Meet. I was planning on doing this later in the year anyway.

There are a couple pf provisos though.

1. It will have to be slightly later than April 8th. I'm not sure when I have to go abroad on business, but it's likely to be around this time.

2. I usually arrange it in my home town (Tetbury, Glos). This is so I can enjoy a beverage without driving and because it's much easier to sort things out with venues, menus etc if it's local.
I can provide details of hotels etc for those wishing to make a full day of it.

This shouldn't stop anyone else organising additional meets. The more the merrier. And I do like to get merry!

Carol if you are still organising one in April for Bristol, I am sure we will be there.

I don't know the area well apart from Cribbs (Shopping ) This is just off the M5.

Opposite Cribbs is a Restaurant area which has a TGI Friday's http://www.cribbs-causeway.co.uk/ this is just a thought. I know I won't have any time to help with any organising but appreciate anybody who does LOL!!! Thanks for the offer of sorting out train tickets etc Carol, we would probably drive from here

So, am I right in thinking we now have 3 meets? 1 at Tony Romas in KUT on 25th March or 8th April, 1 in Bristol on 1st or 8th April and 1 in Tetbury organised by Mr Stringer, who needs to be within crawling distance of home sometime after 8th April.

I can pick you up from the station and get you to Tetbury. I won't be able to give you a lift back (unless you decide to stay the evening, I'll give you a lift to the station next day) due to the aforementioned compulsory drinking required at DIS Meets.

If you want to return on the day I expect we could ask some kind soul to return you to Kemble.
