Hi all! I've been home a few hours, but the rest of the DISer's are still enjoying the park!

THANKS Deb and Tony for bring us all DISNEYLAND PARIS napkins! NO WAY was I letting my kids use them ~ they'll go in my Disney scrapbook! Thanks Deb for riding with the kids on THE FLY!

THANKS to Meagan and Ginny for entertaining Emily! She had so much fun with you both! Three rides on The Great Whale of China was her goal for the day!

THANKS to all the teenage boys for being so nice and polite! You are all such great guys! Especially for sitting with Em on THE BAT!

THANKS TO JULIE FOR ORGANIZING A GREAT MEET! It's always such a pleasure to see you Julie! You are a terrific people!

Len and Kathy ~ have a great vacation this week and have a blast at the Eastern Ontario Dis Meet!

SEE YOU ALL IN SEPTEMBER! S

Hi everyone, the boys and I finally left the park at 7:50pm.

We couldn't get back to the gate by 6 o'clock, Kathy and Debbie and crew, because after my much needed "coffee break", Tim got me to go on Minebuster with him. We waited for about an hour and finally it was our turn. I have to admit that it was great fun, even though I had my eyes shut for most of the ride. Next time I will be able to look more, now that I know I can handle the ride. I think I may have conquered my wooden roller coaster fear!

Then he wanted to go on Sky Rider, that one took close to an hour to do. It was fun but I found it uncomfortable. I kept my eyes mainly shut for this one too.

Dan said he had had enough after The Bat with Emily and the others and Tim went on Jet Scream last and said that was it for him. We checked out the line for Thunder Run, which I wanted to try and do again before leaving, and Top Gun, but the lines were horrendous. However, before we left Tim and I did the "funnel cake ride" with strawberries ~ YUM ~ Dan had some of mine without the strawberries and we all sat and watched Top Gun!

Luckily traffic wasn't bad and we got back to Woodstock at 9:20.

I'll second that Sandra, about the Disneyland Paris napkins ~ THANKYOU Debbie and Tony for thinking of us. I, too, couldn't bring myself to use them, though. :D :D

Many thanks to Ginny and Emily for going on Thunder Run and Vortex with me, my first-ever rides at Wonderland! :D :D

Thanks for YOUR help, Sandra, in organizing the day too! Never having gone to PCW before, all your hints really helped me and everyone else I'm sure, prepare for the day. And thankyou, it's always a pleasure to see you too! :D

I had a really nice day chatting and spending the day with everyone and I am already looking forward to September's meet and especially seeing all your DLP pictures, Tony and Debbie. :D

Len and Kathy, I hope you have a wonderful vacation this week and be sure to say "hi" to everyone at the Eastern Ontario DIS meet for us. :D :D

Another great thing about yesterday was the weather! WOW! It couldn't have been better. I watched the Strong Man Contest on the news last night ~ I looked for all of us in the crowd ~ LOL!

The PCW lines and crowds were far worse this year than last year. Prehaps people are staying home in the GTA area instead of travelling this summer. It makes WDW lines not-so-bad LOL!

I love chatting to you all ~ I too can't wait to hear more about DLP and seeing the pix!

THANKS ALL! S

Well, the rest of stayed until the park closed! Michael and Anthony went off together again after dinner to finish riding all of the thrill rides. I think that the only one they misse riding was Drop Zone, and some of them they rode several times. The rest of us wondered around and the girls rode the Fury and Great Whale of China (again!) and Debbie and I rode the carousel. Then we all rode Thunder Run again. It's so much better in the dark than during the day! We ended the rides with Len, Debbie, Meagan and Ginny riding the Vortex! Ginny's been trying to get up the nerve to ride it for a long time and after finally doing it she loves it! Before leaving the park, we stopped for ice cream (our family) and funnel cake (disneykins' family). We went our separate ways about 10.20.

Thanks to everyone for making it such a great day! It was very special being able to do something like this with a great bunch of people! Almost like doing Disney together. LOL

See you all at the end of September!

Kathy, I thought about WDW with you all too! I thought what great fun it would be to do this at WDW! I could see us all having a wonderful time watching parades, riding the carrousel and sitting by the pool ordering pizzas! HUMMMMM! S

Sounds good to me! Now all we have to do is have one of us win the lottery! LOL!

We took a few and Julie took a few, but no digital cameras, so we'll have to wait to finish the roll before we can share them.

Oh, I wish we could have stayed later, Kathy, sounds like the line-ups were not nearly so bad or non-existent later on. However, the kids had done what they wanted and I really did want to be out of Toronto while it was still daylight. I grabbed a few photographs as everyone was cleaning up after lunch so I don't know how they turned out. If any good I'll try and get them scanned so I can post them.

Maybe one day we can all do Disney together, you never know!!

Hi all,
What a great day at Canada's Wonderland. We left home at 8 am and got back home at 1 am! Thanks to Julie for organizing the day. Sandra's "fast passes" were a big help. So glad to see Emily could spend the day with us and show us around. Anthony had a great time with Michael, we only saw them they needed feeding. LOL. Thanks to Ginny for talking Megan into going on the Vortex, I dont think she would have done it without your coaxing. We had a great time touring the park with everyone, and at least it was in Canadian dollars. We enjoyed supper with Kathy and Len and talking while our kids were on the rides. (Remember the girl in the yellow and green dress?) Maybe next year you can talk Tony into going on some of the rides? Not likely LOL. Thanks again everyone and see you in September.
Tony and Debbie
