Finally got to my 2.5 stone milestone having lost 3 this week! Will persevere but we've got a meal out on Sat plus another the following Sat plus a buffet and a meal out on 19th - then the little matter of Christmas!!!! However I'm glad to have finally reached 2.5 stone before Christmas. Good luck everyone!!

that's fantastic!!!! well done!!!!!

i just got back from the gym and i'm proud to say that i did another 70 minutes on the trainer (the last 30 minutes while laughing my way through queer eye for the straight guy - such a funny show - they're so cute and funny, too bad they're gay.....but a girl can dream anyway.... :) )...

i haven't weighed myself (we don't have a scale) but i put a pair of trousers on just now that i haven't been able to wear for a while...so that's neat....

i've probably not lost any weight, but converted a bit of fat to muscle...

but you've inspired me....so i'll try to keep it up this time....

I've really got confused with all the losing and gaining that's happened so far, so I'm just going to say that I've lost 5 lbs overall - only another 6 lbs before I'm back under double figures again, yay! :cool1:

Thank you Beth for your enthusiasm!! Well done you too for so much effort!! Makes me feel exhausted just thinking about doing 70 minutes on the cross-trainer!!

Well done Emma! Long long way until I (if ever!!!) get into single figures again!!!!!

Well done!

I am trying to avoid this thread though as I am naughty girl who likes choccy too much.

Am back on diet again today, although going out for dinner tomorrow - will have to resist burger and try to order jacket pot or something.

yes 21 lbs. is great....i would love to have lost 21 lbs....you should be proud of yourself....

thankyou diana and beth :flower:
i have been focused and was doing really well, up until a couple of weeks ago...

i did 75 minutes today (9 kilometers...how much is that in miles?...i can't remember the conversion.....something like 6 miles maybe).....while watching a really amusing episode of Mythbusters on the Discovery Channel....and then when that was over, the last 15 minutes of Dr. Phil....(again, one of his ultimate weight loss challenge episodes)...

and then i walked to the eye doctor and back....i couldn't drive since he was going to put drops in my eyes (glaucoma test - since i'm nice and old now....gotta get check for the fun stuff)....

I did another 10k last night at the gym.
My run to WDW is creeping up nicely.
Up to 189 km now!

Still got a LLLOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG way to go tho!

Oh well.

Had a healthy dinner last night, and then had a nice big glass of wine and 4 cornflake chocolate cakes from Sainsburys - yum!!!!

that's great....are you going to the WDW marathon?....is it a real marathon length? even a half marathon's a good distance...

Well done Beth!!! I only managed 15 minutes on the cross-trainer today - my legs just hurt too much so I did an hour on the treadmill (walking) and 20 lengths in the pool!! Hope all went well at the eye doctor's!

Well done to everyone who has lost this week. I've just got back from weight watchers. I only lost 1/2lb this week which I am quite dissapointed with as I have tried really hard this week. Oh well, I just hope for a bigger loss next week. However I have my SIL's hen weekend this weekend which I want to enjoy but don't want to ruin my diet over. I plan to save points through the week though so I can have a glass of wine or 2 over the weekend (we are going for a spa weekend.) I guess I should still be happy as I have lost 33 1/2lb on weight watchers (40 1/2lb overall as I lost half a stone before I started WW.)
