it is hard to believe but lots of water flushes the body out and reduces your appetite. since the day before my surgery, i have been drinking between 9 to 14 bottles of water daily. at that point, my urine was clear which is a very healthy sign. yellow color means you are not getting enough fluids.
the kidneys work overtime when you are dieting. you have to keep them flushed. when you exercise or diet, you must increase your water intake.
wendy, work yourself up to 5 bottles of water a day and hold at that until you are comfortable with it. when i started the diet, i only drank 3 bottles of water daily. it just wasn't my thing. i make myself drink a lot.
you will notice your appetite is curbed when you feel full.
in order to maintain and hopefully drop weight this week, i will not eat anyfood after 7pm. now i go bck to the surgeon tomorrow morning and i can resume a regular diet depending on what he says. i have a hole in the floor of my mouth and can't get food in it as it will go straight to my gland.
once he closes it up tomorrow (hopefully) to a small slit, i can eat chalupas.
i know i will go overboard on the food when that happens so i will not eat past 7 pm. i love to snack on cheetos and pb and crackers, or mayo on saltines while i am dising at night.
i think once a month i need to change one habit i have regarding food in order to maintain my weight.
i wish all of you happiness and good health. whatever you lose this week is going to bring you closer to your goal.
kat said it all. she is happy she weighs less today than in the months prior.
that is such a happy, good feeling !!

I'm bad on the weekends about the water. We are on well water so I have a tendency not to drink. I did buy some bottles but forget them too. I'm great at work though, I have a Bubba Mug that holds all the water I need so I fill it up in the morning and drink on it all day. Everyone laughs at my mug but it works for me.![]()
Awesome January. I remember a friend from probably around 20 years ago who did weight watchers (changed a lot since then) and right after she weighed in she would eat whatever she wanted that day and then the next day she was right back on it for the rest week.daisy_77 said:Good morning ladies! I thought I would stop here today before going to the chat thread...I feel like I should come and post here more, it will keep me motivated.
I have been losing steadily the past few weeks! I realized today that I have lost a total of 58 pounds since I gained so much weight after having my daughter. I weighed 227 when I joined Weight Watchers. I am now 169. I need to be at least 129 to be in a healthy range, so i have a ways to go. This challenge has brought out the competitor in me and I want that prize![]()
I got rid of nutrisystem and I am back on Weight Watchers! I love Weight Watchers! I could see myself gaining weight after nutrisystem...WW is something that is a lifetime program.
I think that all of us are doing great! I think even a 1/2 pound loss is an accomplishment!! Remember, one pound equals 3500 calories. That is a lot to get rid of!!
Good luck to everyone here! I hope we can all reach our goals!![]()
