Yeah, there are some lovely restaurants down Cardiff Bay which is where we're heading on the Saturday evening

I've just noticed that our first poll has closed, and the most popular for the Friday evening is Hooters

So our Friday evening plan of action so far looks like this :~

6.30/6.45pm Taxis to Pica Pica for 2 for 1 cocktails

8pm Taxis/Walk to Hooters (to do, book a table for around 8.30pm)

Oh me too, Mandy!!! Fingers crossed the baby puts in appearance sooner rather than later...

OK Girls, the next poll will be for where we're going to get our 'groove on' after we've been to Hooter's

Many thanks to Sue's friends at work who have let me know about clubs near Hooter's, and the usual suspects too (comments in red from the girls at Peacocks, Cardiff)

So we've got :-

Sodabar Here

Soda Bar is on Mill Lane not far from Hooter's at all, they have dancing, a great roof top terrace, its free entry before 10.30, £3.00 after 10.30, £5 after 12, its open until 4am and on a Friday night drinks are £2.00 each from 10-3am (selected lines) but I'm sure we would find something we drink

The girls say its lovely and not filled with youngsters off their heads lol

Cougar Lounge (love the name)

The Couger Lounge doesn’t have a website yet as its quite new, again not that far from Hooter's but nowhere as near as the Sodabar. The girls said it has a small dance floor, and cheap drinks, but I think without a website to check it out don’t know if its worth the risk.

The girls advise us NOT to go to Oceana unless we want to spend the night with a load of 17 year olds

Well the poll for the Friday evening club has closed, and wow ! that was a close call NOT ! Yes the SodaBar won hands down, I will update the itinerary on the first post, and then I'll get working on the poll for Saturday lunch time

I've just noticed that Trainline have the price of rail tickets on now for our dates. I'm probably going to be getting the 11.30am train from Birmingham New Street to Cardiff Central (arriving around 1.30pm), then my return will be the 11.45am (arriving back in Brum around 1.40pm). If anyone else has to go through Birmingham, then let me know and we can arrange to meet up. Btw, the cost is £39 return
