OK I can say we can probably beat the VMK judging timeframe. I won't promise yet, but I think the judges could be wrapped up in 1 week where as VMK won't announce until January 14th. I think that would work out nice then both groups can have their moment in the sun.

I also believe we are going to use the same categories as VMK. But only 1 winner per category.

The prizes may not be announced, but dont you all worry. I got some stuffz and there have been offers coming in to help donate. I can say there should be some nice prizes! Just not sure I will be ready to announce what they are ahead of time.

wanted to add I updated page 1 with some room building rules/guidelines at the bottom. If anyone has any questions that arent covered on the room building portion. Ask here, I will get it answered as quickly as possible. I dont want to hold any of you up!

if you can hide go for it, but some rooms you cant really hide. For instance batty If your in the picture dont wear that hat, we would all know its you

totally up to you you can have it open closed or whatever I hope we can organize a big OPENING after it has been turned over to the judges. Have some fun in all these great rooms

Yes you can submit more than once, I would ask that you try to keep that to a minimum, as its more work for me But if something comes out that you think makes a big difference, go ahead and redo it and send it back to me. If you are really hoping a piece we have seen is coming out, then do me a favor and hold off and wait and see

You are not too late What is your vmk name? and be sure to look at post #1 just to see how you can get the room to us for judging.


BTW I know some of the judges are disappointed they cant actually go into the rooms, but trying to get all the judges in there, and not in front of the owners and not to mention it will no longer be anonymous because of the room info. I just think this is for the best.

I don't know if they will send conformation emails for the VMK one, so I will send in my picture and we will see if they visit me over vacation. So I will just enter and if I see that flag I will tell you to remove me.

That's my guess, yes. I can only imagine the chaos the judges would have, if they had to visit 20+ rooms! The timing alone would be almost impossible, not to mention the judges having to wait in lines. Makes sense to me to use pictures.
