it doesn't say they were put back up, does it? Did you hear something other than on the DIS thread? This is important Bets. I'd hate to have the men be dragging all those chairs down the beach if they don't need to - oh, I'll do it, but I'd hate to if they are indeed put back.

Chris has an insulated bag that I'm sure he'll have slung over his shoulder so he'll have room for one chair in each hand. T can drag 2 (afterall, what are teenagers good for if indentured servitude). 'Cuz If I try and drag a chair, I might spill my drink no, wait, that's not funny.

OK, I'll trade places with you...but you know tho...that would mean that you're poor like the rest of us for the rest of the year! I am not sure that would be a fair trade but I would be willing to do that for you!!


Trying to decide what to wear on the interview(s) this morning. It's pouring down rain...so dark out that the street lights are still on at 8:00 AM!! I have this brown suit that I've been wearing...it's practical for interviews and funerals. But I have another suit (never worn) that is cream colored with a light brown pin-stripe...a lot more "springy". I would like to switch it up & wear something more cheerful...but it's so-o against my nature to wear something light on a dreary rainy day... I got an hour to figure it out!! Sigh............

Grrr...we have to wait for a the rebate too. I put on my form that I wanted direct deposit (even though I owed and paid taxes) but the IRS doesn't seem to have my info in their files (go figure--they sure have it if I file late!)
So, while we are desperately waiting for that rebate to come so we can purchase a new riding lawnmower (ours conked out, and with an acre of grass to cut, it's sort of a necessity!) We had a couple of kids from the neighborhood cutting it for a while, but they moved, so now we have very tall grass while we try to find someone else.
Sigh....

The Kingsburg Swedish Festival is this weekend and it's supposed to be around the 100 degree mark.....hot hot hot!

This weekend, hmmm? Not much but work, laundry, soccer, etc... Tonight I have my nieces' dance recital, but other than that, just another weekend.

9 weeks from right now, I will be at Kona Cafe for lunch! I think a Lapu Lapu is in order.

Well. I am home from the big interview process. I felt OK with most of the people...until I got to the last guy. He was a Sr VP and who the position primarily works for. He been there 27 years...he was from England...older...a little more reserved. I wasn't feeling it with him. The position has been open for 2 months and they've been interviewing all along and haven't found anybody they like yet. In the beginning the HR girl had basically said if they were going to make an offer it would be next week. The last guy said he thought it would be several weeks yet before they decided - so I'm taking that as not such a good sign...sounds like he's got plans to keep lookin' doesn't it?! Oh well.

On the bright side it stopped raining.

CamColt - in 9 weeks I will be on a plane!! Remember when it seems soooooo far away?! Then the limo to Radisson at the Port! Who is meeting me by the pool for drinks on Friday night??

Anyone?? Anyone?? In about 7 weeks I will have to write down everyones plans so I can keep track! And celebrations on board. Gotta get those too. And a VR gift...hmmm...what to do about that....Hey Bets any ideas on that one? You are such a great shopper.

Just ordered a new kitchen table. Why is wood so expensive?? Could not decide on the chairs though so gonna have to go shopping and sit in a whole bunch! Now if I can just find a nanny to watch Little Pirate and not have to drive the 35 miles back from the furniture store because DD8 is in the office with a fever.
