FYI...Objective is not so necessary anymore. When I am viewing resumes, I am looking for

1. Key Accomplishments
2. Last 3 to 5 Job History with detailed but short descriptions
3. Education

That is about it. I guess as a hiring manager, I figure that you are looking for a job so it doesn't really tell me much when a candidate uses filler just for the heck of it.

Hope that helps. I would be happy to look at it if you like. Just to give you some backround, I work in finance for corporate so that is the type of job I fill.

Got Kimmy & I 2 tickets to see Rascal Flatts/Taylor Swift in concert

OH-- Heard about this on our way to the ranch....very jealous. would love to take Ryan. Do so luv Rascal Flatts. Taylor Swift that would be for Ryan.

But figure tickets are all gone now.

this is the problem I have taking Ryan. We looked at "lawn" seats last time Rascal Flatts was here and they wanted $99 a piece!! Besides...she is 8. Spoiled rotten little child Can you say not gonna happen!

I think I need to take some of DS's ADHD meds - I can't seem to focus today...

Oh Annie, I saw Boston in concert...summer of 87! I loved them!

If everyone wants a good laugh my first concert was when I was in 8th grade (1985) and I saw......WHAM! Not only that but we thought we were so cool wearing our parachute pants, neon pink accessories and lace gloves (think Madonna back then). I think my friends and I made WHAM look normal.

Wow katie - you are young. My first concert I was in High School - junior or senior year - Simple Minds - Selland Arena. And Mister Mister and Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine played at Grad Night at Disneyland. The would have been 1986.

Girls are in bed. Need to take some cough syrup and hit the hay. Monday is on its way. With it comes more laundry and general tidying up.

OH and girls' passport appointment at 10 - guess I better go get the necessary forms online. It appears the government updated those forms on 2/15/08 - I of course filled them out and downloaded them to my printer on 2/10/08.

The beginning of another week. A week for Annie to find a new & more exciting job, more laundry to be finished and whatever else is on your chore list.

Johnna: you could check and see if'n tickets are still available, but I would have to guess that they sold out pretty quickly.

When the Crouton's came to visit, Bob made up this town (Gafturz.....). So I made up my own town, made myself queen (of course) and took over his place. 'Cuz that's just what good queens do. (The kids have taken to calling me Permie - something to do with how I look when I take my hair down after being pinned up all day, kinda... big. Hence Queen Permie). Long live Ziboboland!

Morning ya'll! OK. Just finished filing for Unemployment. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll get my notice that tells me how much I will qualify for. If I calculated it right, the MAXIMUM these days will be $348 / week before taxes. I hope I can get that much! If I can then I can "clear" almost $289 / week! I think it takes about 3 weeks to get the 1st check. I took a drive thru some nearby office parks over the weekend & wrote down some of the company names on the directories. I really want to find something close by so I am making a list of websites to visit. Then I also need to post my resume on washingtonpost.com and monster etc. I don't like CareerBuilder 'cuz they will pop up with a lot of jobs that are close as the crow flies but to actually DRIVE there might take an hour or more! It's like it ignores the fact that MD and VA are separated by the freaking Potomac River!!! Leesburg might be 15 miles in a helicopter but I don't currently have one of those! Hello - I need to drive to a bridge to get there!

It is supposed to be a spectacular afternoon out there today (mid-60's) so I am planning to work outside after lunch. I have a pair of crape myrtles that need trimming. I think the others are OK to leave but these 2 are a little scraggly looking. Tomorrow it will rain so I'll job hunt in the AM and maybe do some cleaning in the afternoon. I didn't go to the grocery store this weekend either so I might run over there tomorrow too for some basics. I think it's going to be a sandwich kind of week so I will need bread & baloney!

Annie, that was the beach at the Hotel Del Coronado in SD...well technically on Coronado Island. HDC is the hotel the Grand Floridian was designed after. Its beautiful! And yep, the actual red carpet. We were there the night before the Oscars. Even covered in plastic, we saw on the news Sunday morning they had to wet vac it. It really rained!

Anyone get their "Packet" from DCL? I got it Saturday..it has reminder date of when I can book my excursions, final payment etc...gosh..it makes it more real now!

And YES, YES - we got our cruise packet too! I just went out to the mailbox to put some mail out & found all of Saturdays mail still out there! I guess the excitement of the Blue & Gold banquet made me forget to check the mailbox on Saturady! I guess we will get a second packet too for cruise #2, right?

I did not go to Wendy's for lunch today..but it is about a mile from my new office
He shooter did kill a Palm Bch Cty firefighter who was a father of 5 and went back inside to get his son's meal toy..he was stationed at our firehouse here in Royal Palm

very sad!
