I have been on the lookout for a cardboard box of joy for 5 days. The days are hot and long and fear that I do not have much time left if my box does not arrive. The vital nutrients and nuggets it holds may be the only thing that keep the hope alive.

We too are awaiting our box of joy. Of course we won't know if it arrived for several days now since we are on the road.

Bringing my SIM trimmer for for SIM emergencies

This brings back *fond* memories of the Vodafone sales persons (in the shop down the street from the Rome hotel) carefully trimming my SIM card with huge scissors.

It worked eventually, but took quite a while. My vacation was almost ruined. Had I but known there was this ultra-cool device . . . .

it worked well in Germany when I was at the Vodaphone there. They were amazed at my nifty little cutter

Still on the air, but I cannot find a tour that is available. It is apparently harder to go see than the Vatican Archives.
