DIS Divas, Take Two & Tyler....WooHoo!! COMPLETED!...OVER 1400 PICS!!

Ty & I headed to Disneyland, as Michelle rested. We headed towards IASW and noticed the area between Fantasyland & IASW had characters out.....the line to Rafiki was super short, so Ty jumped in line and did his best ??Mandrill-Baboon?? impression.

The next stop was with a penguin from Mary Poppins!! YAY!!! This was a new one for us!!

Eeyore & Tigger were the other two, but their lines were long & we didn't feel we needed to get pics with them this time. We headed to IASW and got in line. I noticed the weather vanes on the PFF area, so I zoomed in & got these pics.

You know now that you mention it I have never noticed the service dogs until our last trip. There were ones that were in training. I was thinking that the DLR is a great place to teach a dog about distractions.

Love the pictures of Small World. It truly is the happiest cruise in the world!

Mike & I had been talking about that very subject before I left on the trip.....I had never seen service dogs, but assumed they were allowed in. So I found it very interesting to see 4 different service dogs that weekend.

Long time lurker of your Trip Reports, first time commenter! I love following your (and your family's) adventures of Disney :)

The photo of Dale with the service dog is so adorable. I love how Disney is so accommodating for as many different people, so everyone can be happy and experience the Disney magic (hopefully!)

LOL Laurie yeah Shelby is definitely my one that can be a trouble maker LOL. She is so smart and she def tests me all the time. ;) That would be awesome if we were able to meet up again sometime with the kiddos. Good thing is I know you guys will probably go back to DL sometime in the future and you have to drive right through here so that's a good thing!! And we LOVE the PNW because of living up there and just love it period. So there is always a chance we will go up there again just not sure how soon. We like to try new things and we only go up there about once every 5 or so years. But hopefully it will work out cuz I know my kids really had fun with yours!!

Love your small world pics. You know I know a lot of people don't like that ride or are sick of it but that is one I just always love. Reminds me of childhood both my own and the girls when they were little. I LOVE it at xmas and love it anytime. Great pics!!

:wave2: Welcome.....glad you finally stopped in to say hello!!!!!

Thank you so much for following along.....its nice to know people are really reading these reports!!

Disney is aware of the disabilities and try to accommodate as best as possible. They have things in place for blind and deaf. In fact they just had a huge weekend for the deaf with celebrity appearances from Marlee Matlin. It was great seeing the service dogs this trip. They're using dogs more and more for different things like seizures or autism, and lots of other things as well. We've even looked into a service dog for Michayla since she's non-vocal and isn't able to communicate. They won't even consider a service dog for a child until they turn 5 and then we're looking at a substantial amount of money too. But it's nice to know, if we ever do get one we'll be able to bring them to Disneyland!!

WOW, I can never go away again, even for a weekend, I missed so many updates

Just read them all

Happy Belated Birthday to Anthony, Belated adoption anniversary to the girls and Belated Anniversary to you and your hubby

Loved all the toon town pics, small world, et al
So many great pics.

Loved that shirt that Tyler had on in beginning, with old fashioned looking Mario

Seeing the characters in their Mardi Gras costumes was great too :thumbsup2

Oh..Cool clock and awesome picture Tyler had made for you and the hubby :goodvibes

Somehow I missed this post Kelly.....sorry, I'm usually on top of replying!!

I'm sure we'll get everyone together again at some point. We enjoy the speed in flying, but there's something to be said about road trips & getting to stop and see things & visit with people.

I like Small World & was a little leery of the Christmas version......but I LOVED it!! I actually found myself wishing it was the Christmas version in February...... :rotfl2: It's a great ride, with a good message....eventhough the song can be a bit of an earworm.....lol

Tyler & I headed to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and took a ride. When we were coming out of the exit, I noticed a very familiar face.....it was Froy from Operation Repo (on the TRU network). Unfortunately I couldn't get my camera out fast enough to get a picture of his face....but I did get him from the back.

073-4.jpg

Here's a picture from Google to show you who it is.....notice the bandana or du rag & shirt.....looks like the same ones....lol

So that's my second "celebrity" sighting....the first was Holly Madison (one of Hugh's ex-girlfriends) during my December trip. I see the reality show people where a number of the other Divas saw Movie Stars: Pierce Bronson & Adam Sandler that day.......I would have loved to have seen Adam Sandler.....he's hilarious!!

While we were standing by the water, we saw the ending of the Tiana processional.

The crowds were pretty thick & so we decided to do something new for both of us......taking a ride on the Columbia. Since the Mark Twain is under refurb, they docked the Columbia Sailing Ship down where the riverboat usually is.

We really enjoyed our trip around the Rivers of America on the ship. With all the trips I've made to Disneyland....for this to be a first is kinda surprising......but I'm glad we got the chance to do so!!!

Ahhhhh, finally got caught up!! I leave for a bit and jeesh...!!!
As always great pictures. I found it interesting that both you and Ty love lightfixtures:lmao:
Till next time...

That ship is so cool. Such great detail went into that
