Well, I lost my multi-quote... guess it was too big.

Capri - I will have an extra tiara and a beer for you in the morning.. I can also arrange a few shots for the walk to the park if needed ;)

Beth - Please sign me up (probably Tammy too) for the F! dessert seating.

Door signs in the theme of our Meet and Greet party.... I could only imagine what the other guests would be thinking.... The Clampets are staying at the Hojo :lmao:

I like the t-shirt idea Tiara's for everyone.. soo cute!

Kerri, here is the sign I made for the hotel door last trip. I roomed with Kandace and Jamay so all our names were on there.

This is Cheryl and Mel's:

This was Jen's. They had a 2 room villa I think and this showed all the ladies staying together:

Just an example of some of the fun door decorations some of the ladies have done. There's been lots more over the years, but that was all I could find for now.

:lmao: That would be hilarious!!

I'll add you and Tammy to the F! dessert now.

Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone! :cheer2:

I'm excited! And actually also, ummmmm, nervous. I've never subbed before. I guess as long as the day ends with all kids accounted for and alive, then that's considered a successful day, right? :goodvibes

Of course I leave for a 7 day vacation next Weds. Great timing huh? :upsidedow

How cute! I don't remember seeing these. We could do something similar using the Mickey heads, only instead of tiaras, the Mickey heads would have sideburns and trucker hats. ;)

So, ladies. I have never purchased a TIARA in my life (believe me they are soooooo not my style) but I shall have to now. Are you all agreed that some place like Claire's is probably the best place to look for one?

They're also generally available at the Dollar Tree. When I had a pony tail, I wore a beige ball cap with the tiara perched on the brim, and took the cap off and just wore the tiara for photo ops. I'll probably to the same even with short hair (I'll just end up with hat hair - ugh) just because I burn easily.

Did some more playing around and tweaking based on some of the posted suggestions from Tina, Cheryl, Angie, Kerri, etc.

Wednesday, February 27:
Arrivals at various times throughout the day and evening
Lunch: Rancho Del Zocalo (a good first meeting spot and you can bring to-go items over from other restaurants if you want)

Dinner: Two choices tonight. Cheesecake Factory for those who want to walk to Garden Walk. Or Storyteller's Cafe for those wanting to stay on property. HoB would've been fun, but I think as Tina said, too noisy for a first night dinner.

Thursday, February 28:
Breakfast: Plaza Inn character meal (assuming we can get in early enough to be done before 9:15 for the tour)
Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour @ 9:30
Lunch: Carnation Cafe or Cafe Orleans. Both have good appetizers if you don't want to order much after a big breakfast.
5:30 p.m. - Meet and Greet Party @ Carousel Hotel (includes dinner)

Friday, March 1:
Breakfast: quickie on your own before the photo/hunt
Group photo in DCA (either at the fountain or in front of Mickey Wheel)
Scavenger Hunt
Lunch: To be decided based on where the hunt ends (in the Pacific Wharf area would be nice or over by Boardwalk Pizza, hint, hint, hunt team, lol)
Dinner: Again, two choices tonight. Carthay Circle for those who want to do "fancy" or Flo's V-8 Cafe for those who want casual.

Saturday, March 2:
*Optional off-site day at Newport Beach for those interested*
Breakfast: Riverbelle Terrace?
Traditional Tiara/Princess photo, (if not available, tiara photo in front of castle),followed by group ride on It's a Small World
2nd Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour @ 9:30
Lunch: Big Thunder BBQ
Dinner: a counter service? since most will be full from the BBQ and don't want to eat alot before the F! dessert seating. Maybe Jolly Holiday Cafe?
Fantasmic dessert seating (Time TBD)

Sunday, March 3:
Last day of the trip
Group farewell breakfast @ Mimi's Cafe

:lmao: :rotfl: OMG, somebody puuhleeeaze get the tag fairy back on this thread!! Capri needs to have this tag. For real. :rotfl2:

By the way, that's the goal I strive for at home as well. :thumbsup2

I like the sound of all this! I haven't eaten at most of these places. I'll have to check the menu for Carthay and the prices.

Per Touring Plans it looks like the park should open at 8am on Saturday March 2nd, so those wanting to do the tour might be able to get in on the group photo before the tour if the photo is early enough. I know this was one of my dilemmas about doing the tour or not, well besides the price.

Good to know. Thanks, Kandace. I hate that Disney doesn't post important info such as hours, closures, etc until so close to the actual time!

Which I why planning at WDW can be a headache. ADRs to get what u want 180 days out and park hours are nowhere near being posted. You just have to go w prior years hoping a close schedule and wing it. LOL.

Congrats, Capri! My sister in law subs, and she loves it. Her schedule is flexible, and they pay is pretty good. Good luck to you!

The new schedule looks good to me, Beth.

So, I'm catering a backyard wedding this Saturday. It's 120 people, so not too bad. I just have my fingers crossed that the weather holds out!

I agree, Tortilla Joes was disappointing. My tamale wasn't edible last time, too under cooked! The guacamole was good though.

The guacamole there is super good. Some of the best I've had. Anyone who says otherwise, or sends it back, is just not right in the head.

I do rides rides rides rides, and animation academy and rides and rides and rides. Some people do lots of meals and all, I am more of a grab a chimichanga and go kind of person.

Or a corn dog.

TIARAS are mandatory.

Good thing I have perfect hair for a tiara. No lie.

Beer?!! Heck, that would require shots of 151 rum for breakfast!

Ill start practicing now.

Guess what?
