Good morning again, I am now up for good after my rude awakening at 3:00 am.
Our forecast has the worst winds between now and 2 pm. We are at the High for the day now, temps are to be in the low 30s by 5:00pm.

Right now I am not planning to hit the road to Indy until later this afternoon.

Good morning everyone. I had a very stressful day and night. I think I might get out of here today. John (3guysandagal) stayed up with me on the phone to see if they could get my plane landed last night. They did at 11:28pm.
Thanks John for staying up with me.
My phone batterie died just before the plane landed.
I need to take a shower and get across the street to the airport. Talk to you later.

Just got back from the dr. Mom was sick over the weekend. She hasn't been eating right since then. Her electrolytes and blood sugar are messed up. Orders are to rest, eat lightly but frequently and drink something to up her blood sugar and electrolytes. So I will be heading to the NICE grocery store and get her some supplies. She should be feeling better by the end of the weekend. Little sister and family will be on call for the weekend for anything Mom needs.

so good news- the job offer just came over. Just need to make sure Dh is on board then i can sign and return tomorrow. have to do a drug test in the next 36 hours though, not sure how i will find time, might have to skip out of work early or take a super long lunch! good thing i already packed. they want me to start 12/28. we come back on 12/20, so i can go in a few days at the old/current place to transition and then enjoy my Christmas! woo hoo. finally good news and can enjoy my vacation!

Morning everyone. My flight into JFK is already delayed 2 hours, so I am bailing and have a 8:45 flight to Orlando. It definitely has thrown on kink into our plans, but on the plus side I am free for dinner tonight if anyone wants to join me.

Morning Friends!!! It starts today for me. Not sure I am going to be of any use at work today at all. Between catching up on some 30 threads, everyone's Facebook and leaving by 12:30-1:00. Oh well glad I don't have much in the pipeline anyway.

Major slush this morning for the weather. It was like the sky opened up and poured Grand Marnier Slushie everywhere. Minus the tasty goodness though.

Checked in for today's flight last night and got A43. Checking in for tomorrow's flight in 10 minutes.

I've got some errands to run today & then I need to pack. Of course, since I have to be out & about, it's raining. Better rain than snow/ice, though! Fingers crossed that those of you that are getting winter weather are still able to get out on time!

Anna lives in Aspen, and it has been snowing there for days.
However it's the fact that the planes have no visablity and have had trouble landing.
We were really scared she was not going to make it!
However this are looking at least a little better right now.
I am posting this b/c Anna is on her way to the airport.
I will feel alot better once I know she is on her way.

Well, in spite of the bad weather, I'm on my way. They deiced the plane twice but my flight took off on time from the Quad Cities Airport and right now, I'm probably somewhere over Tennessee. Looks like I'll get into Atlanta on time - now I'm just hoping that my connecting flight has not been delayed.

Get this...because of the horrid weather, the majority of the folks booked on my flight either rebooked or cancelled. There are 18 people total on the plane (including crew). I have the entire bulkhead row all to myself!
