Morning all! Lots to do at work these next three days. Trying to stay as calm as possible and to optimize the sleep. Not sure if I will sleep Wednesday night though.

How cool! We have a Jim Shore nativity set (still in the box bcs we haven't finished the tree). Does anyone know what "Epcot Center" means?

Epcot, as we now know it, used to be EPCOT Center. It has been renamed, although subtly throughout the years.

In 60 hours I will have landed in Chicago and my DAP trip will be well underway!!!


I'm so excited. I didn't get much accomplished at work last week because of the excitement. Wonder how much will get done this week....

I have been keeping a MUST DO before DAP list - these are the things I will worry about this week, everything else will be here when I get back.

Right now - it only has one task that I can't do until tomorrow - Open Enrollment for insurance - I need to complete this before I leave.

Hey, my smilies are back where they belong!

We are officially under a Winter Storm Warning tomorrow through Wednesday night Hopefully I have no problem getting out of here on Thursday morning! The county just to the south of us are part of a Blizzard warning On a related note, I guess the Christmas lights aren't going on the house this year

I was planning on cleaning today and running around and getting last minute stuff tomorrow to pack on Wednesday - guess I'll be running around today before the snow flies. And trying to sneak in seeing New Moon again, too.

I've lurked for a LONG time and been a fan of the PodCast but never signed up on the board. A former co-worker and member here turned me on to this wonderful group. Work will have me at Disney during DAP (so nice of them to do so); during my off hours I decided to join in on the fun! How could I resit the chance so drink and play so Jack won't be a dull boy?!!

As such I though it was time to make it official and do what I should have done long ago...make myself appear. I am looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can, learning from Mr. Cockrell and Skalar and taking a "shot" at a cruise.
