Unfortunately the answer is no.

We had a cut-off for when Dreams clients could get back to us and that has passed.

In order to ensure we have a decent number of open spaces for those not booked with DU we cannot guarantee a spot at the event for anyone who is not already a DU client.

I know this may seem counter intuitive for a business that gets it's revenue from booking Disney resort stays - but we need to be fair to those who are counting on us providing as many open enrollment spots as possble. If people book with us now just to come to our event and we say they get a guaranteed spot we could wind up with no 'open spots'.

The lesson here...always book with DU because you never know what cool thing we might have planned...

Bummer! But it makes sense, so I understand. I'll just have to make sure I'm online at 9pm on Thursday

DH told me that this will probably be the last time for a very long time that I could do something like this, so he's telling me to go! It's my Christmas present from him! I think he's a keeper...

BTW, B - just re-heard your email from April 2008 when I went back, searched the podcast log (thanks again, Brian from Virginia!! ) while re-researching getting an ECV for my Mom this December...We'll probably go with the one that sponsors the DIS after listening to your email and ones that Kevin answered 10/10/07 and that Bawb answered in January 2008... If only I could remember how to avoid that nightmare story about someone having to push their dead ECV around EPCOT...

I've been rediscovering my youth actually! My sister dragged me to a NKOTB concert the other night in Chicago. Let's just say...they've turned into some "Grown Men"

DH had told me I could about a week ago, but then claimed that he never said anything of the kind. Men...but this afternoon, over an ever so romantic lunch at our local Burger King, he gave me is blessing! He said that this would most likely be the last time I'd ever get to do something like this...and that every last penny of it is my Christmas present. I asked him if I would at least get a card for Christmas...lol...I'm not complaining though!!

I hadn't even thought about it being possible to go. Then I read in today's paper that Jet Blue will start doing direct flights to Orlando next week. That led me to Jet Blue's site which showed that I could do a r/t for less than $200, so the wheels were set in motion!

If I get on "the list" I'll go fly down Fri and come back Sun morning. A very short trip, but I'll take a solo trip any way I can get it!

That's kinda what I'm doing. I'll fly in on Friday morning (on SW) and then fly home on Sunday afternoon. Quick weekend...only 2 days of admission and not a lot of time to do everything there is to do for Christmas, but i'm not complaining! DH and I had originally agreed when we filed our adoption paperwork that we would not take any vacations until we got the call for China. This will make trip #4 that i've taken since then...

I've just got to figure out how to get from the airport to the Dolphin and back as cheaply as I can! Thought about a rental car, but i'm kinda freaked out about driving by myself. I'll figure it out though! Anything to get me to my beloved WDW!
