OK Gang heres the info on the sign-up page for our event at Disney Hollywood Studios on 12/13/2008. Please read this carefully as I have tried to include as much info as possible to help avoid confusion and panic.
The sign-up page will be available on Thursday 10/30/2008 at 9:00 PM Eastern Time. It will be available on this page http://www.wdwinfo.com/disney-podcast/maniameet.cfm
If go there now you will not be able to sign-up yet.
We will also be announcing this on this weeks podcast so that all of our listeners who do not read the boards will have this info as well.
You will be required to fill out one form for each person in your party. You will need to list yourself as the lead name (and your email address as the contact) for each person you are bringing. Again, you will need to fill out a separate form for each person in your party. This will make more sense once you see the actual form.
We have a finite number of open spaces for the initial round of sign-ups (dont ask how many Im not telling). Once this number is reached the form will shut off automatically. Shortly after we will put up a form for a waitlist. If you dont get to sign-up in the first round do not be discouraged. We are working on a way to invite more people so having a waitlist is important for us to see how many more we will need to add and what the cost might be. We cannot guarantee that everyone on the waitlist will get into the event, but we will try our best to get as many in as possible.
If you received an email invite from Dreams Unlimited Travel and replied to that email, you are already on the list. Please DO NOT sign-up again. If you do you will be taking a spot from someone who wants it as we have a finite number of spaces in total for attendees.
Duplicate entries will result in the original request and the duplicate being removed from the list.
If you are DreamsRES client and have a hotel reservation booked with Dreams Unlimited Travel at the Swan and Dolphin, Gaylord Palms, Sheraton Vistana, or Buena Vista Suites for 12/13/2008 that was made prior to this announcement (10/26/2008), and you provide your reservation ID on the sign-up form you will get a priority spot on the list and you do not have to fill out a form for each person in your party. Again, this will make more sense once you see the actual form.
We ask that you do not sign-up unless you are 100% sure you can attend.
As a reminder, you must be in Disney Hollywood Studios Theme Park prior to the park closing on the evening of 12/13/2008 (approximately 8PM). This means you must have your own park admission to get in to the park. If you are not in the park prior to the closing of the turnstiles you will not be able to attend the event. Once in the park and the park officially closes you will be able to enjoy the Osborne Lights and then make your way back to Pixar Street for the event.
Only people on our list will be allowed entry into the event.
We strongly encourage anyone attending our event to sign-up for Mousfest (www.mousefest.org). While registration is not required we are participating in Mousefest to show our support for the Disney Fan community at large. Having as many folks registered for Mousefest as possible will help ensure future Mousefest events.
