The red embellishment was easy with the Christmas parade but, the journaling was a challenge!

Here is my page,

One of these days I'm gonna get to WDW for Christmas! I love the way you put the santa hat on the word "Mickey"! And the ornaments are wonderful - good job on those. And the ric-rac looks like it could also be curly ribbon. This is a very fun page.

I still have doubts about the alpha here but this is my attempt. This certainly was a challenge, thank you Britt i learned something newby doing this. You all produce such wonderful work! Gill

Kim - I love how you did the journaling!! And those Mickey ornaments are awesome! Great page.

Gill - So happy you had a good time and were challenged!! That's the whole point!! Your page turned out great. I really like the blended pic in the background.

Wonderful pages so far ladies and thanks for hosting, Britt! I haven't been able to do much scrapbooking lately but will try to do something before Tuesday since I leave for Paris on Wednesday:banana: I go to DLP in 9 days!

Here's mine. Just by chance that I used the same kit as before, but goes to show its versatility!

(hmmmm not sure why it's not showing the photo..................OK finally got it...............)

This place is crazy but we loved it. We didn’t know the shakes would fill us up so much hardly had room for food. Chris had a lot of birthday fun.

Great challenge! I will have to see if I can come up with something for this. I still have to sort all the photos I took on our trip.

Welcome back, Melissa! I'm sure you had a great time. I leave tomorrow.

I enjoy seeing how everyone has used just one paper. That was a challenge for me. Great layouts everyone! "See" you when I get back!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!

AGH!!!! I am such a dork!!!! I cleaned all day yesterday so to relax late last night, I decided to start scrapping again. A challenge is what I needed so I came here to get the instructions and got started.

Wellllllll, I forgot the #1 rule. No, not the first instruction, THE NUMBER ONE RULE-- must be Disney related! DUH!!! When did I realize it? Oh, when I was doing the journaling-- the LAST step. Oh well, I got another page completed.

Here it is just in case you were curious what I came up with first.

Thanks for the challenge Britt! I can say it was "twice" as fun as the other challenges! :goodvibes

I'm trying to finish my 2008 book, so I went with a page on Norway since I needed that page in my book. Thanks to this challenge, I've gotten a lot done. I doubt I'd be this far without the inspiration each week!

Thanks for hosting Britt! This was really a challenge with only one paper, and no staples & stitches!

Here is mine:

This was our first time eating at the 50's Prime Time Cafe and had a total blast! Our "Mom" was so funny! My Aunt and Mom really had a lot of fun. I know my journaling isn't very original, but its hard to do curves and such with Photoshop 7.

Thanks for the aweome challenge Britt! It is always so difficult to not use stitches or staples. I was soooooo tempted to work a few in! LOL

Thanks, Britt, for the fun challenge. I can't wait for Spring!!!

Woo hoo! I come back from the weekend to see all the awesome entries!!!!

Photobee - Super cute. Really pics up that magical feeling of Main Street windows.

Kathleena - How fun!! I love the cute title and those pics. The word art is awesome. Great job!

mommyofthreeboys - Haha!! So funny that you did it twice. The non-Disney one is adorable anyway! I love how you did your journaling along the burst lines. And your Disney one is really fun!! You are a scoundrel to trick your fam! I love the colors and the journaling along the top of the photos.

susan - How cute!! I have no idea what the Maelstrom is, but this page is beautiful. LOVE that alpha.

Melissa - I'm lovin' this page. The color scheme is so cute. I love the scallops on either side of the page. I love how you used the template. I think this place looks so cute. I'd love to go there!!!

Janis - Oooh pretty. And yes - the flower power at Disney is incredible!!!! I'm lovin' that BG.

Robin - This is soooo adorable!!! What a cute play place. VERY clever journaling!! That must have taken some work! Nice job.

What an awesome photo of the Viking Ship!!!!! Did you know that used to be a playground and then they closed it off. And now - they have taken it down!!!!!! Very upset, used to be one of my favorite photo ops. But they have taken bits of it and made little displays around the area and grassed in where the ship was.

And Britt-Maelstrom is the name of the attraction in the Norway pavilion. It's a little boat ride with a film after. Guess we need to get you to WDW fast!!!!

Thanks Kathleena! It's so sad that you can't go on the Viking boat now! I have pics of my kids playing on the boat!

I too was so sad to see the Norway boat gone. :( BTW, here is what is left of the boat:
