DIS Digi-Challenge #70 (8/12 to 8/18)

Hello! I'm so exited to be hosting another DISbaords Digi Challenge! This week I have something a little different for you. It's an inspiration challenge! While looking at some old Disney movie posters this one for the Aristocats caught my eye:

The one thing that really caught my eye was the rounded border with the squarish pictures at the bottom. I used that in the layout I created:

Your challenge: Create a layout using the above "Aristocats" as your inspiration. And when you post your layout, be sure to let us know what you were inspired by. Your layout does not have to be a copy of it or be about the Aristocats. Just use this as your inspiration.

Now for the rules:
- Layouts must be Disney related. This can be the parks, on the way to the parks, cruise, Disney on ice, etc.

-Entries must be posted by MIDNIGHT PT on Tuesday, August 18, 2009

Fun challenge!
Okay, this was a no brainer. Bella LOVES Marie and collects Marie plush, ornaments, statues...so this old poster inspired this for Bella...

BUT I have to include this one, too. This is the first digi scrap page I ever did and it was inspired from an old poster, so it goes right along with this theme, even though it is one from last year

Here is mine! Thanks so much for the challenge, I am one more LO closer to finishing my Disney album!!!

The inspiration for me from the picture was the big title and single picture in the middle. Which worked perfectly considering I only had the one stinkin' picture!! lol

Melissa, this challenge couldn't have been better! I've been trying to get this page completed for months now, and I just hasn't worked out at all. But now I got it done, thanks to you!

What I took from the poster: The border, the rounded edges, the title at the top with the picture(2) in the body and the journaling at the bottom. Whew!

Thanks for hosting, Melissa! I had to hurry on this one. We are leaving on Monday to move my youngest to Florida to go to college. Once we move her in I couldn't be within a couple of hours of Disney and not go there so we are staying at BLT for a few days. Even though its a short trip, it'll still be fun!

I got my inspiration from the fact that this movie takes place in Paris and the colors on the poster.

These are the display windows at Disneyland in 08 .I really have to say thats for the inspiration- I was so not inspired to do these photos- I couldnt come up with a title or shape or anything!
I was inspired by the split up title, the rounded border, the glitter behind a central picture, and the little pics on the bottom. Great job!
