good luck this week- some good 'losers' so far :cool1:I am on a mission to get to my target so hopefuly will start the week off well.

Ive made no point soup this morning in an attempt to make amends for the weekend :rotfl2:

:woohoo: That's a great result, Claire - maybe "Tony's Chocolate Avalanche" was a secret weight watchers dessert after all...? ;) :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

That dessert was a total waste of calories!

I was very good all week in preperation for Saturday.

2lbs loss for me

That gets me half way to my target :cheer2:

Great loss - well done :thumbsup2

......maybe "Tony's Chocolate Avalanche" was a secret weight watchers dessert after all...? ;) :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

I think I need to get me some "Tony's Chocolate Avalanche" purely for research purposes :rotfl:

i stayed the same ths week~ i did have a good week (ish) other than the weekend, it also that time and im a bit bloated so maybe ill catch up with it next week..lol or not!

STS is better than putting on and, like you said, you'll probably catch up next week.

I lost 0.7kg this week which was probably helped by a lot of walking and a couple of industrial strength gardening sessions during the week :cool2: I've got another 10 weeks to go until my holidays :woohoo: so I'm going to set myself a target to have 5kg gone by then. That would bring me down to 73kg (11st 7lbs)

My major worry is how I'll get on in Florida, my attitude in the past would have been to eat what I wanted whenever I wanted. We're there for 5 weeks so if I don't want to come back heavier than when I started the diet I'm going to have to be really aware what I choose. I know that I'll be able to make healthy choices but I am just worried about putting on weight while I'm there.

Well done and good luck with your target :thumbsup2

i understand what you are saying about not putting on too much weight on holiday but i wouldn't be too strict ! you do need to enjoy your holiday after all :)

I'm not going too be strict (I'm looking forward to my Dole Whips and the odd cocktail or three ;) ) but I am worried about how much damage I could do in 5 weeks if I'm not careful :rolleyes1

Ooh and I forgot to say thank you for my lovely April prize :goodvibes

I know what you mean and 5 weeks is a long time. BUT I reckon that by the time your hols come around your stomach will have shrunk quite a bit and you just won't be able to eat as much of the indulgent stuff... I only went for two weeks but probably for the first time in years, had anything/everything I wanted! However, due to the fact that my eyes are now waaay bigger than my stomach, rarely finished anything... ;)

i made leek and celery..its lovely !

Sounds nice Nat.

Well done on your loss:banana::banana:

5 weeks is a long time to be in Florida with all the lovely delights it has to offer;)
I try to be good on holiday by going for a swim when the children are in bed, this helps burn that extra bit. I think all that walking helps too:thumbsup2
You can make healthy choices which don't have to be boring, choose tomato/clear based sauces rather than creamy ones etc. I find the portions huge, so I tend to have what I want but I never finish it - I know that sounds like a waste of food but I can't dictate the portion sizes. I have also been know to order childrens meals in CS restaurants. I never finish a side order of fries (or I try to order the alternative). I only have a pudding every other day. Sticking to water during the day also helps me.
Most of all have a good time, I agree with Natalie, don't deny yourself too much so that you regret it when you get home:)

Some good points there, especially ordering a kids portion and having a desert every other day :thumbsup2 I guess it's all about having the right frame of mind which hopefully I do now

sounds like everyone is doing fab :cool1:

great tips of what to do while in Florida, may pinch a few ideas. :thumbsup2

im not weighing in this week, dread to think what ive gained as last week i suddenly switched to holiday mode. been doing my best to eat as good as possible. :)
im going to weigh myself on the wii fit tomorrow morning and again when i get home to see what ive gained on holiday. :thumbsup2
after that i will restart a new journey and set myself a final target weight.

good luck to everyone over the next few weeks, i will see you in Junes thread.:goodvibes

As someone said to me today.............im off to Flexi Florida:rotfl:

I put on again this week. 2.5lbs!! After sticking to my diet for the whole of 2007 and only putting on once in a whole 12 months I just can't stick to it for longer than a fortnight!!!

I'm not upset as I know exactly what I did wrong (and it was more than my meal at Tony Romas!) but I am disappointed with myself.

Oh, well at least I went to WW this evening. (Followed by an unhealthy binge in the kitchen once I got home.) Perhaps I should pin the tracker sheet to myself this week and then I may actually fill it in for longer than 2 days.

Have a fab holiday Nicky. :cool1: It is very hard trying to stick to a diet in the run up to your holiday....I always fall off the wagon a week or so before I go.

Well done Libby for going to class. It is the hardest thing to face up to when you have had a bad week. Good luck for this week. :wizard:
