How much weight can I lose before 5th February?

I've just been invited to Strictly Come Dancing at the O2 on the 5th Feb and the after show party:cool1: :scared:

What on earth am I going to wear?

Off to check website for magic pants........;)

How fabulous - you'll have a great time, Joanne!!! :worship: I hope you're going to wear a sparkly dancing frock... ;)

You want Spanx pants from Debenhams. They are from the US and fantastic, I have the ones that come right up your tummy under your ****s and are like shorts :thumbsup2

Have a fantastic time

Well done everyone for some fantastic weight loss this week.

Me? I'm a little :furious: and

I stayed the same weight and infuriates me because I have been eating less than I normally would and doing more exercise in a day (every day) than I would normally do in a week. Last week I ate more and did less exercise and lost weight.

Don't get me wrong, I still should be pleased as what is not obvious is that I look like I have lost about a dress size (to the point where even I can't deny seeing a change). I guess it is just hard being different and not really be able to quantify 'weight loss' only with pounds shed. At least I am building up my muscle again to be able to keep up some exercise (even if doing so means I stay the same weight but not size). It is just so frustrating to really give it my all and not be able to measure my change 'like a normal person'.

Anyway, I have a size loss rather than a weight loss and everyone doing so well really encouraged me this week- so thanks.

Aww Lisa, don't be too downhearted you have done so well. i bet you get a good loss next week :grouphug:

Well i have managed to lose 2lbs this week so im back on target for my holiday!

Well done to everyone that has lost or sts this week!

nobodies36 - don't worry! :grouphug:

Loosing inches is sometimes just as positive as loosing weight. As you mentioned, you've upped your exercise, hence you'll build a little muscle. And muscle weighs more than fat!

So sometimes when the scales stay the same, as long as you've been eating correctly and exercising, it's not all bad. You still have the knowledge that you've put in the hard work and making yourself feel fitter and healthier.

Keep going and I'm sure you'll see results - wether it be inches or lbs lost :flower3:

Is that what Gok calls a "foundation garment" :lmao: What youre describing sounds exactly what I need :rotfl: I'm going to try and lose a few more pounds and then go for the full suck-it-in number and not eat or drink all night:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sorry to go OT!

Thanks. I feeel better just having a good moan about it and it is a new week (for me) now so I just have to look forward and just do my best.

I am glad that I lost the inches. It is very positive, especially as I have little muscle anyway. I think I did too much, too soon and ended up losing lots of fat (inch loss) but putting on muscle (stabilizing weight) and each on their own is fabulous but together just made for a disapointing weigh-in. I suppose at least this week I will now have more physical strength to keep up and/or do more exercise, which should in turn, hopefully, mean better future weight loss. I'm trying to be as positive as possible because I really feel like this will be the time that I get rid of the weight and keep it off for good.

I've lost 2lb this week so I'll stick with Paul Mckenna for the moment. :)
Well done to everyone.

Well done Theresa - it seems to be working for you. How is Tony doing?

Try not to be disheartened - I (as I'm sure we all do) understand how frustrating it can be when you feel you've been doing well and the results don't seem to show on the scales. But, like you say, if it is showing in other ways, i.e. shape/size loss then that is what matters. Keep at it - you're doing well :goodvibes

Well done Laura, 2 lbs is great :)

Well done to everyone again this week :)

I have lost a 1lb !!

Not too well, unfortunately. He didn't lose anything this week, so I think he's going to abandon Pual Mckenna and go back to counting ww points, which seem to work better for him.

Sorry I didn't get on here yesterday, I didn't get in from work until about half ten.
I have to confess to putting on half a pound.:sad2: 15st 12.5 lbs
I'm going to go back on the WW points as that works better for me anyway.

1.5 lbs for me again this week, well almost 2 but not quite

Not been well since yesterday, think I may have same bug DS had last week so starving hungry but can't seem to eat much.

Weighed myself this morning and lost 1.5lbs since yesterday so could be a good loss come Monday :rotfl:

Thanks. I way over did it with the exercise and I saw that today when one day of no exercise meant I was 1lb down (a day late, but still there).
