Well done on your 3lb Claire, the swimming did the trick after all :thumbsup2

Welcome to week 3 everyone :cool1: I hope you are all still feeling positive, if not come and have a moan !

Good luck this week :grouphug: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Well done to those who have lost this week so far and good luck to those who still have to weigh in.

Only 2 lbs for me this week, which I am a little disappointed with but, still, it's going in the right direction.

I am really going to try hard for a 3lb loss this week but just 1lb would take me to my 10 lb mini target so anything would be good really.

I expected to stay the same but I lost 1lb this week so I'm really chuffed - off to put the kettle on!

Only 1lb this week for me, little disappointed, but 1lb is better than none at all, as my Mum's just reminded me :)

well done to all you that have lost and sts.
well i have had a bad few days so i have fell off the dietwagon.:guilty: too much stress and too much food has been my problem. anyway, its a new day today so i am starting again. i'm not going to my weigh in tonight as it would just dishearten me at the mo if i'm told i have gained.

good luck everyone for a great week. some fab losses there.:cool1:
never think its just 1lb! have you weighed a 1lb out to see how heavy it is?
if you lost just a lb a week youd lose over 3 stones in a year :goodvibes

:wave2: to those that have joined the SW forums i go on.xx

hi all,

had a so-so weekend myself and then spoke to a friend and when I told her that I'd had a bad day and a not so bad day - she gave me two of her gems to keep me going:

1. Take you diet week like it was a bunch of flowers - just because there is one bad one in the bunch you don't throw them all out. I suppose with one or two bad days the rest could be good ones!.

2. she also reminded me of a poem called "The Race" by D. H. Groberg about a young boy in a running race. (I'm new to the forums so I don't know if I should put it my post as its not the shortest of poems) but if you put "the race poem" in your search engine there are loads of copies online. Have a read - its about not giving up - no matter how long it takes you to get to you goal - it doesn't matter how many times you stop and fall - just get back up and keep going.

Well she inspired me again and I've been to the gym today so hoping for some sort of loss when I get weighed on wednesday.

Reading the forum posts also keeps me busy and out of the kitchen.

Sharon

Congratulations on your losses Joanne and Rachel.

Some great advice there Sharon - that is one of the mistakes I often make - I have a bad day and think 'Oh well, that's the diet out the window this week' and then it goes from bad to worse. I am learning to take each day as it comes :goodvibes

Great start to the week! :thumbsup2 Well done to those who have lost or STS and fingers crossed for everyone over the next seven days...

I'm going to try very hard to be good this week but as it's 'that' time of the month and I feel somewhat bloated, I might not be overly successful on the scales - just have to weight (:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: ) and see... ;)

I've lost 2lb this week so I'll stick with Paul Mckenna for the moment. :)
Well done to everyone.

I've just been invited to Strictly Come Dancing at the O2 on the 5th Feb and the after show party:cool1: :scared:

ive another ww recipe to share with you all

Bacon Wrapped Pork with Barbecued Onions (5 points)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Prep time: 10 minutes, Cook time: 20 Minutes

4 Strips Bacon

4 Boneless Pork Loin Chops (1" thick)

2 1/2 Tsp. dry barbecue seasoning

2 Medium Onions, sliced 1/4" thick

1/2 Cup Stubb's Hickory Bourbon Bar-B-Q-Sauce

Wrap a strip of bacon around the edges of each pork chop and secure with toothpicks; season on both sides with barbecue seasoning. Grill pork and onions over medium heat for 10 minutes, turning once. Transfer onions to a large foil, leaving room for air to circulate. Cook pork and onions for 10 more minutes or until pork is cooked through and onions are very soft. Top pork with cooked onions.

Makes 4 Servings.

I've just made this for tea and the whole family loved it. I had mine with sweet potato chips and veg, yum.
Thanks natalie:thumbsup2 .
