Dis Dieters Week beginning 7th April 08

I'm still in shock :scared1:

Got back from Slimming world tonight and in my first week I have lost 7.5lbs. I know this is just first week weight loss which is always good adn that I won't keep this up but I'm over the moon because I have been so good and tried really hard. This has spurred me on to keep at it now.

Hi Girls,

Sorry havent been around for 2 wks. Lost 5.5lbs last wk and 2.5lbs this week.

I'm off on my hols next week so wont be on again brothers getting married on a cruise so looking forward to that so am taking a break off the diet as we have already paid for all the food so I am going to go an enjoy myself.

Come to the end of my initial 14 wks on Lighter life last night and got my before and after pics and oh my god its funny how you dont acutally see yourself being as big as you are! Or well I didnt at least :rolleyes: So in the 14wks I've managed to lose 3 stone 5.5lbs so am very happy with that!


Well done to everyone who has lost and sts keep it up the summer is nearly hear!:woohoo:

I'm back from Barbados and I can honestly say I didn't give a moment's thought to dieting while sipping rum cocktails and enjoying sooo much delicious Bajan food... :cloud9:

I put on 2lb this week. I am beginning to think that this may be the weight I am meant to be IYKWIM?? I seemed to have hovered around this weight for a couple of months now. I am seriously thinking of setting this as my target........:confused3

If you feel comfortable Kaylee then you should stop now and just maintain at your current weight. Well done, it must be great to have finally reached your goal. :banana:

i weigh in on sunday mornings, which is a good thing, since yesterday wasn't such a great day :sad2: ..

but as of yesterday morning, i'd lost 2 pounds last week...:woohoo:

hopefully, i'll make up for yesterday during the rest of this week..

:rotfl2: ...what an idiot! I was too busy replying to everyone else and forgot to say I got weighed tonight and lost 2lbs this week...I'm slightly disappointed as I've been really good and wanted to lose 3 so I reached my 2 stone off but never mind there's always next week. :rolleyes1

Certainly did, Nat! TBH I've never been one for cocktails but my DH convinced me that the standard Bajan rum punch was essential drinking as it contained mostly fruit juice!!! He also insisted we try at least one at every bar within walking distance in the name of quality control. He's a very bad influence... ;)

Well my scales are certainly not my best friend at the moment! Ive put on 4lbs this week!! I dont know how as ive been really good - eating really healthy, lots of exercise etc! Better try much harder next week.

Normally i would feel really down about it but im off to WDW in 2 weeks so hard to feel depressed lol!

2 lbs is fabulous!!....and it's so hard to know what the loss will be in any particular week....i've had weeks that i've been really really good and not lost anything and weeks that i thought i hadn't done so well and lost more than i expected....so you never know...the body seems to have a mind of its own..

i'm a bit worried about this week....i'm still sick...since last thursday...
i've only managed to exericise a few of the days....yesterday i just couldn't get myself up off the sofa...(and then i was up all night again coughing)...
i'm going to try to go to the gym now, but i can only walk slowly...
it's depressing since it's definitely getting me off my 'plan'.....

When the nurse weighed me I weighed in at 225.5 lbs which is 10 lbs less that what i weighed at Christmas. I will be watching what i eat and do some walking in the comming weeks so I can lose 25lbs by summer before My July WDW trip.

I went to my Doctors office to check on why I was getting Headaches and Dizzy spells, He said I have High Blood Pressure. When the nurse weighed me I weighed in at 225.5 lbs which is 10 lbs less that what i weighed at Christmas. I will be watching what i eat and do some walking in the comming weeks so I can lose 25lbs by summer before My July WDW trip.

Morning everyone, I've just weighed in and I have put on 1 lb :(, which isn't so bad, cos after my weekend of eating and drinking in Manchester at the weekend, I had actually put on 3lb when I weighed myself on Tuesday :scared1:

So, I'm back on track and I hope to lose that 1lb for next week :wizard:
