DIS-Con Ornament Exchange

Last year we had a DIS-Con Ornament Exchange. It was a very 'open' event. If you were interested in doing it you put your name on a piece of paper and put it in a hat at the Opening Reception.At the Closing Ceremony you gave your person their ornament.Completely painless -- yet fun!

I was wondering if there was any interest to this again this year. And if so, would anyone like to 'host' this? It's understandable that something like this would need to be passed by CC and Crew as well.

So, is there any interest?
If so, who wants to host it?

I would love to participate but I wont be at the opening reception..my flight doesnt get in til after 10 pm. Could we do the names at breakfast the next morning or maybe just sign up to bring one before we go??

Tammy, they are both unable to do so due to other issues.

And Barry, thanks for the nomination, but I am unable to do it.

Sure, go ahead. If you have trouble having someone to host it, you could always just bring a wrapped ornament and put them all in a big bag and everyone pick. Not as "personal" I know, but less problems if people forget to bring theirs.

Thanks Marsha and CC. Someone PM'd me, inquiring about hosting it. If she decides to do it, great!! But if not, I like the idea of a wrapped 'grab bag' ornament exchange too.

Heck...I just organized a much harder ornament exchange for over 250 people....there's nothing to it!!!

Tia...if the hoster that contacted you doesn't pan out, I'd be more than happy to do this!!!

I believe I'm the "someone" that PM'd Tia and I also just got the OK from CC, so I now have a job . I'd love if zurgswife and Dec99 want to join me, it looks like fun. Actually, Dec99 looks much more qualified for the job . I'm just happy to help out in some way.
