I'm not sure why people think it can't be pulled off. They've already done a number of very large events, and pulled it off.

Especially since they aren't exactly "hyping" it, they've simply announced dates.

Yeah, they've really only announced dates and tok us that it will be huge.

Oh I know whatever it is will be amazing. They always pull out incredible events. I'm hyped, and I know I'll be even more once they announce what it is. And people are right. We're getting ourselves so excited all on our own. They announced dates, and said they have something really great planned. CAN'T WAIT!

The hype has yet to be confirmed. Seven emails to @DisneyKevin have only confirmed that he does have a restraining order on me. What I do know is we (my wife and I) will be at the tequila cave on the 23rd and one of us will be passed out in the shrubs on our walk back to the Boardwalk. If anyone knows where I can get a cup holder for a wheel chair, please let me know.

Watching the Daily Fix from Pete's back yard made me think that it was a bit of an ad for people renting camping spots there. This will interfere with my stalking from the window behind where Pete sits during podcasts. I will not be there this week as the restraining order is still in effect, but soon...

As an update to the 10th anniversary trip I have an itinerary of which bars I will be at from the 18th to the 28th of July. The problem is I forgot where I put it. Meet & Greets were from 11:00 to 5:00 at selected bars in EPCOT and I scribbled something about dueling pianos, so I assume I will be playing at JellyRolls one night. My booking agent will post the info as soon as possible. Here is a preview for anyone who hasen't seen me live. It's from a few years ago so I look much younger, but you can see my fat fingers.

FYI - they just mentioned on the Podcasts they hope to have a lot of the details out and start taking bookings by next week's show - and that they secured a block of rooms, on-site, at an amazing rate

Mentioned "the big live podcast" on the 25th and that various podcast members would be holding different meets throughout the parks.

I'll be curious to see that info. We never stay onsite but might make an exception for a few days if the rate is that good. It will partly depend on whether or not DD is able to get a friend to come along. If she can, then we'll be offsite for sure because we'll need multiple bedrooms. I suspect that their idea of a great rate and mine aren't the same, though.

My guess is that it will be an amazing rate for what it is - a high priced room during a peak season, so still not "cheap". We are in the need/like to have multiple rooms so will be off site but for those that were thinking of getting onsite anyway this is great news .... plus if it means a lot of the those visiting for the DISMeet are in the same place, that is cool for meeting up for drinks, etc.

I can't imagine that they'd do anything that requires EMH.
I'd say they know some wouldn't be staying on-site and wouldn't want to exclude them for something like EMH? Just a guess though

EMH would surprise me as I am sure there are local people that aren't getting a room that wouldn't be able to come .
