Dis 10th Anniversary mention - July 2016

I can't imagine that they'd do anything that requires EMH.
I'd say they know some wouldn't be staying on-site and wouldn't want to exclude them for something like EMH? Just a guess though

No, I don't expect they would...but there are going to be various things going on during the week.

The only major advantage of staying onsite is that our daughter would be able to come and go on her own and not be stuck with us the whole time. I mean she's fine wandering around property by herself but she wouldn't be able to get back to the room if we're offsite.

I'm tempted to stay on property just for the full experience, even though I expect to be living down there by then. But I am also not exactly sure when I will be moving down. It could be after the mega meet. So I feel like I should book whatever they offer next week. Decisions!

But Christie, we were going to crash at your place.

How this is shaping up to be quite an event! Can't wait to hear the details!

Late July is Value Season at Deluxe resorts. Hoping it's not S&D.
Have they done this before? With the room rates at WDW?

Do you mean has the DIS done this before? I believe the answer to that is no. They do DISapalooza every other December but that's different as it's just a one night party for a few hours, not multiple days of activities.

I'm curious to hear the hotel deal. I'm more interested in hearing the activity details and what that's all going to cost. Kevin had hinted a while back that there would be an expensive ticketed event with limited availability. That's what I want to know about. I'm hoping it's something we can afford to do.

I just assume they will make it so expensive and so limited that no one can actually attend the event ---- but we all speculate about what it is and complain that we don't get to go ;)

Well if nobody gets to go, I suppose I won't feel so bad.

This is the point at which I emphatically declare that I hate each one of you who will have the opportunity to attend this event. Out of jealousy, of course.

That is all.
I second your thoughts Llama-Sama.

perhaps they'll have tired pricing.........

And charge a daily resort fee

and limit your to 3 FP+ so you have to pick and choose which podcast members you get to meet

On the plus side, there will be a VIP dessert part offered ... but if you have to ask how much is costs, you can't afford it

to be fair, they had to keep them separated ... given all the tension that brought on the downfall of The Trip ;)
Ahh, makes sense; but then why is Corey with Kathy? For that matter why is Craig at MK, the only park with no beer?
