Directions to closest Publix Market

Will be staying at All Star Music and someone in our group has a Family Suite so we plan to take advantage of it and have breakfast in the room (no Free Dining during our stay next week.

I am not fond of the grocery store in Lake Buena Vista near downtown Disney, and have been told there is a Publix in the area. Can someone give me directions from All Star Music-we will have a car.

Go to Google Maps and enter Publix near 32830 to find the location of all the Publix near Walt Disney World. Click on the one you want and get directions.

This same tip works for just about anything. Want to know the nearest Pizza place? Just substitute Pizza for Publix. How about Walmart? Same thing.

We stay at shades of green. The easiest Publix to get to is at
13450 Summerport Village Pkwy, Windermere, Orange, Florida 34786.
Don't know if this will help or not since these directions start "inside" the Magic Kingdom gates. (hence the restricted road usage). The best thing about this Publix is you get there out the back of Walt Disney World; so there is NO traffic, and NO hassle whatsoever. In a very nice residential neighborhood. Very nice store. Good luck.

There's one a little less then 5 miles away on S International Dr.
when leaving ASM take a right on Osceola Pkwy, proceed 3.3 miles to Gaylord Palms Resort, at the light take a right onto S International Dr, 3/4 mile on your left is a Publix, just after the overpass of RT417.
Shouldn't take more than 5-10 min

Correction when leaving the All Star Resort you take a left to get onto Osceola Pkwy, across from the McDonalds then proceed as above. Sorry for the error.


There is another Publix about the same distance in the oposite Direction.
Go past McDonalds and under the overpass and take a left onto Osceola Pkwy toward AK.
Proceed 1.2 miles to the intersection of Sherberth Rd, turn left onto Sherberth Rd. and proceed 1.3 miles to the intersection of Rt 192 W Irlo Bronson Hwy.
Take a right on Rt 192, proceed 1.6 miles to Publix in the Orange Lake Town Center on the right.

There is one located in the Regency Village Shopping Center at 8145 Vineland Ave, which is just past the Premium Outlets.

Seeing this post reminds me when we went to the Publix near Gaylord Palms on our last visit being amazed that there was cattle grazing in what seemed like the backyard of the Gaylord Palms Resort. The area was between their parking lot and the highway that you travel under on the way to the store.

Just go the store locator on their website. They have where you can find stores near popular destinations and it will give you a map of stores near Disney.

We usually go to the one on Vineland, but have also used the one on S. International Drive near 192. Love Publix, and it is nice a clean with friendly staff to help if you can't find something. They will also help you load your car!

There is also a Super Wal-Mart on 535, which is almost between the 2 Publix. However, we only go there if it is at a time when the locals won't be there or a lot of tourists. We go either at 7 am or 10 pm to avoid the crowds. It can be really crazy busy and I find the food items I want hard to find. Usually no staff around to ask for help. In the summer they have a great selection of Disney merchandise cheap (t-shirts, swimsuits, etc), but when we were there in October there wasn't much available.
