Direct Water Park bus service from resorts is back!

This is great news! My kids like to take my niece and nephew as we still have several non expiring water park days left but none of the adults really enjoy the water parks anymore. They are all plenty old enough to but alone but when they added the transfers it just took too long. :)

I wonder if they saw a big drop in attendance at the water parks since they got rid of the direct bus service? I would think the Volcano Bay sucked up a lot of the locals. So maybe Disney is trying to bring the on-site guests back to the water parks by restoring direct routes

That’s how it is currently and they are getting rid of that.

I thought it was bus to those then transfer?
I was talking about the old way where every DS bus went to TL and every AK bus went BB. That was awful.

The current way is you have to take a bus to Disney Springs or AK and then transfer to another bus there. I find that way worse than making two stops.

Unless you were just trying to go to DS or AK. The extra stop at a water park for the majority of the bus riders was brutal.

I remember a particularly painful DS (or, rather DTD as the time) to POR bus. They are so close together, it should be a short bus ride. But, the stop at TL added an extra half hour to the trip because of traffic trying to turn into TL, and then trying to make a left out of TL.

3/4 of the reason why we chose not to add the plus option to our military salute tickets was no direct bus service. We might reconsider.

Anyone know if military salute tickets can be upgraded after the fact to include the water parks?

We are considering H2O Glow night in June. This news will probably confirm that we do it. I was planning on Uber but hesitant if we are still damp at the end of the night.

Will the All-Star Resort continue to have its direct Blizzard Beach bus or will that route now combine with DAK?

HUGE improvement, but there will be some bus sharing and the buses will only service one Bus Stop in OKW and SSR and only one in each Moderate(with POFQ looking like they will have to "hoof" it on up to Riverside).

  • Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, and Disney’s All-Star Movies
  • Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
  • Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort
Select resorts will have specific bus stops that service the waterparks:

  • Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort – Old Port Royale Stop
  • Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort – El Centro/Stop #1
  • Disney’s Old Key West Resort – Hospitality House Stop
  • Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – South Bus Depot
