Dinosaur Character in AK

On Dec 9th we met a green dinosaur and a blue dinosaur in Dinoland, AK. Who were they? We didn't get autographs.

No definitely not Conniesaurus. The dinosaurs were not ferocious looking, rather cartoonish. The green one -- a very bright lime green, I think is a girl based on the eyelashes. The blue one struck me as a boy. I'd post a photo if I could figure out how to.

Yes they are Chester and Hester.My dd had a pic taken with Hester on 12/22.

Cool! I believe they are fairly new. DISer Shubunk also met them this week. I been told the 2 original dinosaurs Conniesaurus and Carnataurus aren't meeting anymore, but have no idea if that's true or just a temporary thing. But it's nice to see some new characters out and about! I can't wait to get down there and meet Hester and Chester!

My guys met dozens of characters during our trip and C&H scared the crap out of them.. Two smiling dinos-what gives? Oh well!

Carno and Connie do not meet any more. The dinos in Dinoland are Chester and Hester.

So I guess it's true that Carnataurus and Conniesaurus are gone. My nephew loved Carnataurus, he thought it was so funny how he would eat people's heads!! I was hoping maybe they would reappear someday, but I guess these two new dinos are their replacement, it would seem. Well, at least there are two new characters to meet, then!

Sad to read that Carnataurus & Conniesaurus are gone. I'm surprised Disney has named the new dinosaurs, Chester & Hester, because those are supposed to be humans. I remember when Lucky the Dinosaur first appeared, that Chester & Hester came out and talked about the "baby" they had "adopted" and how they had created "Dino-rama." They later revised the show and no longer included Chester & Hester.

You know whats weird, that they stop letting connie and carna out but they had brand new costumes when i meet them. Take a look at the old ones...

I wonder why disney would go through the trouble of making new costumes and hardly ever using them?

We Just came back from Disney Jan 21-27.07. My daughter got their pic's and autographs and the green one is Roxie and the Blue, T-Rex...don't know who they are suppose to be..but that's who they are.

Actually, this is rather interesting! You actually got their names and autographs? And some here on this thread believe their names aren't set in stone yet? And peppers pointed out that Chester and Hester (according to the back story) were the names of the humans who ran the carnival of Dinoland? Hmmmmm! I got to investigate when I get there next week!

And like Shubunk said, Conniesaurus and Carnataurus were redesigned and given new costumes not too long ago! Why pull them from meeting? Maybe (look away if not want the magic spoiled ) the costumes were too hard to wear, too much pressue on the head area? Oh well! My nephew loved Carnataurus - he could watch him all day pretend to eat people's heads! We'll miss him!

Weird. I posted the pic of my daughter with the green one on page one of this thread. I asked her "Are you Hester?" and she nodded her head yes!
