Dinner package question

I'm still debating about the WOC dinner package and I really like the look of the menu at WCT, and we are big wine lovers, so I think we will eat there with or without the dinner package. We'll be at DCA early enough one of our days to get an early FP for WOC, so it's not purely for the FB/preferred standing area.
But if you were going to eat there anyway, would you just go ahead and get the dinner package? Or is it still not worth it?

And has the dinner package menu changed lately? I'm not clear on how that works - what do you choose from?

Thank you! Only one more week!

I have not heard of any menu changes but it has been 7 months since I did the WOC dining package. And we did it at AG.

As for value, I really do not think the whole WOC dining package is worth it if you are looking at it from a viewing spot or time savings perspective. The dinner is good (at least at AG) and not priced all that much higher than a normal dinner - so if you want to eat there anyways then it may very well be worth it.

The regular FP is easy to get and the viewing spots are fine if you arrive early enough.

If you were planning to eat there anyways, I'd compare the WOC vs. regular prices and see if there is a cost difference and if it was worth it to have the preferred section. If it wasn't a big price difference I'd probably go ahead and do the dining package instead of grabbing a FP.
