Ok.. I would love to know where we could eat a dinner or late lunch meal for around 35-40 its just me hubby and a 6 yr old daughter..

thanks.. We like to visit Rainforest Cafe and we also order pizza at night.. any other suggestions.. thanks.

The first thing that came to mind is Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club. There are no ADRs for that restaurant, but the wait isn't usually dreadfully long.

With careful purchasing you could keep it pretty close to $35.

Counter service places in the parks would be my next thought. Depending upon what you like best, of course.

World Showcase has the best selection of counter service restaurants (don't forget the bakeries in Norway and France)!

Take a look at Trail End Buffet for lunch, you may be right near that $40 mark. Slightly over with the tip.

All-You-Can-Eat Buffet includes:

Soup of the day
Chili
Salad Bar
Selection of vegetables
Fried chicken
BBQ of the day
Pizza
Assorted hot and cold sandwiches
Chef's Recommendations

Beverages available at an additional cost

Price: $12.99 10 and older; $8.99 Child (3-9)

Soup and Salad Bar Only Available

ESPN would be real close to that dollar amount, of course depending on what you order.

I think you could do it at The Plaza Restaurant at MK, if you skip dessert. ;)

Also, Earl of Sandwich at DTD is pretty reasonable.

MK: Cosmic Rays, Caseys, Plaza ( if drinking water and no dessert), most CS really...
Polynesian...Captain Cook's
Boardwalk to Go
ESPN
DHS: Maybe Sci-Fi if you shared a meal, and they are pretty big
Epcot FW: Sunshine Market, Electric Umbrella
Epcot WS: Mexico

I think you will be fine!

Shutters at Caribbean Beach keeps all entrees under $20 so that may be an option.

Are we talking 35 pp or 35 for the whole family??

Are you looking for TS? If not I think you could probably do most CS meals for about that. For TS, I think Chefs De France used to have a fixed price lunch that was about $17 pp--add in a kid's meal for $6 or $7 and that'd be close to your limit--although doesn't include tax and tip.

If you watch what you get at Beaches n Cream, that's another sit down you could do for that price. But their desserts get expensive, so it'd probably inolve sharing if you wanted to get more than just a burger for the adults.

You'll be fine at nearly all CS, for TS if that amount is your total including tip, you're not going to be able to do it at very many places--as others have mentioned, maybe Plaza and Beaches and Cream and then you'd still be pushing it for tips and tax. If that were my budget, I'd plan on sticking to CS using an envelope system and any leftover $$ pooled together might yield enough to add to one days $$ to purchse a TS.
