Dinner at Universal

We are staying at WDW April 27 to May 11 and will be visitng both universal parks.

A couple of questions.....does anyone know what time the parks close at that time of year and also can anyone recommend a good place for dinner?
We will not have a car but will commute using shuttle or cabs?

Not too sure what times the parks close but my personal favourites for Dinner would be "Margaritaville" in City Walk or "The Kitchen" over at the Hard Rock Hotel.

the parks usually close at 7pm around then. spring break is typically over and it's a slower time. Citywalk is open until 2 am every night of the year, however. you'll have no problem finding a nice place for dinner.

Mama Dellas at Portofino is really good. Emerils is okay.
The parks close between 6 and 7 that time of year. Renting a car is the best way to get around without having to wait. Otherwise I recommend a cab.

The Palm Restaurant at the HRH is great for dinner. It is a great Steakhouse and because it is near the theme parks the dress code is kinda relaxed. Also, if you go early, there are many families(aka:KIDS) dining. But who cares, the Palm is Great!

My fav spot for dinner would have to be Tchoup Chop at RPR. Margaritaville and the Islands Dinning room tie for second.

DH and I liked NBA City and The Kitchen, but really, we stayed three nights and we didn't have one bad meal. We also liked Finnegan's in US.
