Not sure which board to post this - If we have dinner at Epcot, but then want to go to MK to see Spectro and Wishes (Spectro beginning at 9pm), what time should we make our dinner reservations in Epcot that will allow us enough time to catch Disney transportation to MK in order to see the shows? (There's only two of us, both adults, so we can run if we have to!! - but preferably not!)

I'd give yourselves LOTS of time in between.

The monorail can take alot of time, then you have to change @ TTC or take the ferry (romantic, but even longer).

The walk out to transportation from most Epcot rest. takes some time too.

Don't forget a PS can take @ least 20 min. before (sometimes much longer) before you're seated.

You might want to consider "splurging" on a taxi.

Good Luck.

Driving or Disney transportation? Can't help you with the first, but if you're taking the monorail, you should allow an hour - you've got to get to the front of Epcot, board the monorail, ride to MK, switch over to the MK monorail (one transfer allows you to just walk across the platform, but I don't know if it's Epcot-to-MK or MK-to-Epcot, so you may need to walk down one ramp and up the other.
Then it depends how good a viewing spot you hope for, especially for SpectroMagic. Figure a half hour early, anyway.
So, I guess maybe 5 PM to be absolutely safe?

Of course, there's the alternative if you're dining anywhere in World Showcase (no flames, please) Walk(/run?) out through the International Gateway to Beach Club, board the MK bus from there, ride to MK, find a viewing spot. So, 6 PM? Unless you're going to scarf down dinner, you want to allow time to enjoy your food.

Sounds like a pain, so how about this one? Can we eat at California Grill and then walk to MK? If so, any suggestions on the time we should try to make an ADR for CG? (We are going in mid-May). Thanks.

It might actually be quicker to leave Epcot via the Int'l gateway, walk to the BC and take a bus to MK or catch a cab.

It's a very short walk, IMO, from the Contemporary to MK. I think that would be the quickest way because you wouldn't have to wait for the monorail.

Since they are now taking ADR's at 180 days ahead, you will be able to make the ADR's soon for a mid-May stay.

I would at least an hour and a half for travel time, no matter where you eat.
