I have a stupid question... If you book dinner at Goofy's liberate your appetite at 5/530pm and the park closes at 6 and reopens at 7 for the vmcp, do they let you stay in with proof of tickets for the VMCP? Plus, anyone know when the Dec. hours will be released? I'm trying to plan for our 12/06 trip and need the hours to figure out where to go on what days.
TIA

Yes, they do let you stay. You can either exchange your tickets for wristbands at the gate (after 4:00p) or in the restaurant.

December hours will probably come out in June.

Thanks for the info! I thought I once saw something like that, but couldn't locate it anywhere! That makes me happy!!!!! I'm trying to plot out our days and it is driving me crazy. We usually just kind of go with the flow, but this time we have a large group going with us, some are only coming on certain days, etc. What a pain! Plus, somehow I ended up the planner... I'm still trying to figure that out!

We will be going to the MVMCP on December 1st. I have reservations right now for the California Grill at the Contemporary Resort at 5:30. Do you think we are going to have any problems getting in to the park at 7pm?

Looks like it might be better to already be in the park...so where is a better place to have dinner before the party begins? Any suggestions?

Thanks for your advice in advance!

Hi wc!

I would keep the reservations for CG. I've never dined there but it's supposed to be great! You may enter the park a little after the beginning of the party depending upon your meal length, but it's really not a big deal. Also, at this point it may be difficult to get a reservation at one of the MK restaurants. Of course it can't hurt to try! My family and I always go to Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner before the party.

Thanks Erin, I feel better about it then. We are 2 adults but just didnt want to waste the night trying to get back in to the park. I just made our plans over the weekend for our dining.

We are thinking of the dining plan too and I need to research that as well.

Looking forward to having a great time at Disney during the holidays!

Thanks again for your quick reply!
