We are meeting friends in Disney in June and doing some dinners with them (9 of us total). We are getting the DDP but our friends, staying at the Grosvenor, cannot. Will this be a problem when we're all together at a restaurant?

No, but I would be sure to let your server know at the beginning of the meal.

There will be seperate checks.

Definitely let the server know before you order, because if they mess up, the default mistake is usually to bill the other meals to your room! The other folks not receiving a bill at the table would be a clue, of course, but no sense in taking chances.

Also, let your friends know to check their bill carefully. Usually if anyone at a table is on DDP, they seem to automatically add the 18% gratuity to all checks. Alert your friends to that so they don't double-tip.
