I was just wondering if there are any chracter meals that are specified to boys like Star Wars characters or piates of the caribean...I think that would be awesome. The girls have their princess meals I think the boys need something for them!

not really, Chef Mickeys and maybe Donald's safari aren't too girly. I went in 09/08 and wanted to have a special dinner for my DS and I ended up doing Dinning with Shamu at Sea World because they didn't have anything really boy orientated.

My DS-then-8, biggest Star Wars fan of them all, did character meals at Garden Grill, Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace and enjoyed all of them. We have never treated the Disney characters as a feminine type thing, but obviously he was more interested in getting to see Mickey and Chip and Dale, and Pooh and Tigger than Cinderella and Belle.

The boys did Garden Grill while the girls did Akershus, but otherwise we did the rest together. Hope this helps.

I agree that a Pirates or Jedi meal would be so great for boys. I am amzed that Disney is missing this opportunity.

Our DGS would have been beside himself if we could have brought him to something like that, but at age 6, on his first Disney trip, he was thrilled with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy.

Now, if he was age 9 and back again, he would definitely prefer a more "boy" theme. They have the pirate adventures, but he would not go by himself on something like that. I wish a character meal would be developed for pirates.

I think you may be on to something.... especially since Pirates is so big right now and obviously there is a demand for it!

Try Cape May at the Beach Club. It's more casual and relaxed with Mickey, Goofy, Donald and Chip and Dale.

I always thought a Peter Pan themed meal with Captain Hook, Peter Pan, Wendy and Tink would be awesome. I can't believe they haven't done this!

I wish they had a Toy Story character meal! My son is only 18 months and two of his words he says are "Buzz" and "Slink"! And they could have Jessie and Bo-Peep there to keep all of the little sisters of the world happy too!

My DS 4 would be in heaven if they did this. I have said for years they need to have a boys themed character dining.

1900 Park Fare used to have Hook, PP and Wendy. I can't remember whether it was breakfast or lunch but I remember Hook coming up from behind me and slammed his hook on our table. My DD was sitting in my lap and was terrified of him! It's funny now but back then, not so much! :rotfl:
