Dining Suggestions for 40th Bday

My family and I are going to WDW in October to celebrate my 40th birthday by running the family Halloween 5K. I would like to make ADR for dinner on that Saturday... It will be myself, my DH and 3 DD along with the babysitter... Where would you suggest?

Are you going to be in a park? Or do you prefer resort/DTD dining?

i celebrated my 40th at kona - timed so we could watch fireworks from the poly beach after. but you may want something fancier like a signature rest. maybe citricos , narcosses , jiko, artist point? where are you staying?

We are open to anything... will be running in MK early that morning ... might hit a park in afternoon.. very open to suggestions!

First time ever staying at Polynesian!!!

we loved the poly! (and kona since that is where i celebrated!) you could walk or monorail it to the gf for the 2 signature places there. I personally haven't eaten at a sig but the ones i listed above seem to have good reviews. it may be too late to get cali grill but you never know!

We were in WDW 2 yrs ago for Dh's 40th and celebrated his birthday at Narcoossees. Great place to do it. I also ordered his cake from the Grand Floridan bakery and it was to die for yummy.

I shouldn't admit this but I'm among friends here.... I celebrated my 40th birthday at Chef Mickey's.

It was great as usual and the characters noticed my birthday pin and made a big deal about it.

If the 3-year-old can handle a long meal, I'd do Cali Grill and watch fireworks. If not, do an early character meal. Then, since you have a sitter, go back to Cali Grill for dessert and drinks during the fireworks! Have fun!

Oh I say defanitely Kona or ohana! We LOVE Ohana. dumplings, noodles, stir fry veggies, salad, sticky wings, 4 grilled meats including shrimp and a to die for banana dessert with ice cream.. Cant go wrong! PLus its in the Poly, so PERFECT! LOL

We're taking our DD to Neverland Club for my birthday next month and then we're off to California Grill! Woot!

We are doing Tusker House that morning.

Whatever you decide, I would definitely book today, October is getting pretty close for reservations.
