Just got back over the weekend from a week long stay at Coronado Springs for hubby's conference. Here is where we ate and what we thought.
Whispering Canyon Cafe - We had lunch, which was wonderful. DH and I both ordered the skillet and the milkshakes. DH got the orange shake and it tasted just like a creamsicle. I opted for boring old vanilla, but it was very good! Food was great and our server kept bringing us anything we wanted. The atmosphere was a lot of fun. DS 2 really enjoyed watching all the kids and the singing and clapping.
Pepper Market - I ate here three times (2 dinners, 1 lunch). I really enjoyed the food. I had the wet burrito twice and also tried the bourbon chicken which was excellent. We ate in the first night, and I thought the service was pretty bad. We never saw the waiter again after we were seated and ended up getting our own refills because we were tired of waiting. I always got my food to go after that and ate at the tables outside by the lake. Also, the first time we went, the cooks were very slow. DS and DH were finished with their food before I even had mine. But I never had that problem on the other visits. Always quick.
ESPN Club - Nothing special, but the food was good. DH and I split the nachos and a chicken wrap. Nachos were great. DS had the hamburger kid's meal which was very good. Atmosphere is fun and I love being able to watch TV in the bathroom!!
Kona Cafe - Had breakfast here. I had the tonga toast, and DS got the mickey cakes (very cute). Food was very good, but the service was terrible. I didn't even see our server for the first fifteen minutes I was seated, and she took our orders and left. Our drinks arrived AFTER the food which was about fifteen minutes after we ordered. And I never saw her again until she brought the bill.
Biergarten - We absolutely love this place! The show is so much fun. DS 2 realy enjoyed clapping and dancing. The food is pretty good too. And the beers are HUGE! I ordered a large and could hardly lift it!
House of Blues - Just OK. The food wasn't that great, but they do have sweet tea! I probably won't go back though.
We ate at several counter service places too, but I didn't want to make this any longer than it already was. I hope it can be helpful to some!
